Although we love your little ones, we cannot accommodate all children – thank you for your understanding. If your invitation says "family" or includes your children's names (please check RSVP online), then we will be able to accommodate your kiddos during the Ceremony and Reception. However, we're happy to host all kids at the other weekend festivities (please check the schedule) on Friday evening and on Sunday early afternoon.
Yes! We will be providing transportation to the ceremony, reception, and back to the Doubletree Hotel at the end of the evening. Buses will be picking guests up at the DoubleTree Hotel at 1000 Northeast Multnomah Street, Portland, OR 97232 on Sept 7th at 3:00pm. Please plan to be there, even if you're not staying there, in order to be transported to the ceremony. Note: ALL CAR TRAFFIC WILL BE BLOCKED from entering Mt. Tabor summit, the ceremony site. After the ceremony, the buses will be taking all guests to the reception at Produce Row Cafe. The ceremony will be ending at 11pm and buses will be taking all guests back the DoubleTree. If you're not staying at the DoubleTree, we recommend using ride share services like Uber or Lyft to get back home safely.
Semi-formal. Also, check the weather! We're anticipating the weather to be quite warm during the day, but will cool off in the evening. We do want you to feel comfortable. Footwear: The ceremony will be on a relatively flat mountain top with grass/forest floor.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
First of all, don't miss the bus. But just in case, here's the Mt. Tabor ceremony address: Mt. Tabor Summit: SE Harvey Scott Cir. Portland, OR 97215. Please use this address, all other varieties of "Mt Tabor Park" etc will direct you to the wrong location. We recommend taking an Uber or Lyft to this address and seeing how close they can drive to the location. You will likely need to walk some distance uphill to get to the summit. Think hiking. You'll be walking on either paved terrain or hiking trails.
