(ahem, Tinder) We met online! When we first messaged each other, RJ was en route to Germany for his friends Glen & Gerry's wedding (hi guys!). We joked about how trendy clogs are in the NW. Fast-forward a few weeks to our first date! We met at a Speakeasy bar called Bible Club in SE Portland. When clogs came up again in conversation, RJ said, "I'll be right back," and he came back with a wooden clog magnet. Time. Stood. Still.

We were on a weekend trip in the Santiam forest. It snowed all night, we saunaed, the power went out, coffee got spilled. BUT when he asked me to "take things to the next level," down on one knee, next to the Santiam River, I couldn't say, "yes" fast enough. We're so excited to celebrate with everyone!
