Park the Car in… Which Yard?

The Hawthorne has two parking lots located on Essex Street, behind the hotel. We recommend entering "98 Essex Street, Salem MA" if using GPS. Parking is free and available on a first come, first served basis, with a number of accessible spaces for those with a visible disability placard.

Getting Around Salem

Located in the heart of downtown Salem, MA, you’ll find the Hawthorne to be perfectly situated to explore all the city has to offer! Just steps from Salem Common, Salem Witch Museum and Essex Street, there is something for everyone within eyeshot of this historic venue. Downtown Salem is very walkable, so park your car in one of the hotel’s two parking lots and explore the city on foot. But bring flats- cobblestones don’t pair well with heels!
