Question
Will there be transportation to and from the venue?
Answer
Yes! Shuttles will run from Crave BV (on the corner of Railroad and Main St) starting at 3:15pm. Last shuttle to the venue is at 4:15pm. The shuttles will start again at 9:30pm to take you to your place of residence or to the after party at BV Slammer. Shuttles will finish from the after party at 12:30am. Unfortunately, Uber/Lyft are not available in Buena Vista.

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
Yes, there is a large dirt lot at the venue that can accommodate all of our guest's cars. You may leave your car overnight as long as you pick it up by 8am on Sunday morning.

Is the venue outdoors?
Answer
Our ceremony will be held outdoors, and the reception will be mostly indoors. There is an outdoor area on the side of the barn where guests will be spending cocktail hour with heaters and a fire pit. We recommend dressing for cooler temperatures. Additionally, we know that the ceremony space tends to get a little windy in the late afternoon.

Not casual, and certainly not black tie. Dress nice, and don't over think it! (think: suits and optional ties for men, nicer cocktail dresses, formal dresses or elegant jumpsuits for women)

Should I be worried about the altitude?
Answer
Buena Vista is around 8,000ft elevation. Most of you will not notice any difference besides becoming tired sooner than usual on the hiking trail. We highly recommend increasing your water intake a couple days before you leave, and certainly while you are in BV. Alcohol might sneak up on your faster than normal as well. Have fun, but be prepared!

Will I have an assigned seat at the reception?
Answer
We are planning for a cocktail reception with open seating. This means there will not be a dedicated time for a sit-down dinner. We are hoping to create a more fluid atmosphere where you can sit at any table, but still move around and enjoy your time as you wish.

What if I have dietary restrictions?
Answer
We are planning to have a couple of food trucks at the venue. We will be sure to have vegetarian and gluten-free food options.

Where's your gift registry?
Answer
Many of you will travel long distances to share our wedding day with us. While we really appreciate your generous intentions, we kindly request no gifts (even cash).

Although we love your children, this is an adult only event.
