Sangeet’s are very colorful, so bright and bold colors are always welcome! Formal western clothing is appropriate, but we would also love if you embraced our culture and wore something more traditional. For men: Kurtas are appropriate and are semi formal while sherwanis are also welcome while being more formal. For women: Lehenga, sari, salwar and anarkali are all appropriate. Sari is harder to wear if you are not familiar with Indian clothing, so we suggest you wear lehenga, salwar or anarkali if you do not have any prior experience with Indian attire. No matter if you wear Indian or western attire, we encourage bold colors!
Recommend same type of clothing as sangeet but usually not as bold or multicolored. The bride traditionally wears red, so try to avoid this color if able!
