Start at the year-round famers market and see the famous flying fish, as well as the first-ever Starbucks. Other attractions include: Beechers cheese, Rachels Ginger Beer, mini doughnuts, Piroshky Piroshky, chinese baos, gyros, and so much more! Then head down to the waterfront piers to check out the ferris wheel, Ivars Famous Fish & Chips, Anthony's, and Elliot Oyster house. There's also an aquarium, and for a free attraction, spend time watching the ferries come in and out of downtown Seattle (one of Rita and Adam's favorite things to do!).
Hawaiian-Korean cuisine with an amazing view of Seattle. Drive around the Alki Beach neighborhood to see the rest of the sites, such as Alki Beach, local ice cream shops, Dukes Chowder House, Spuds Fish and Chips, and the West Seattle Brewery. You can even take a water taxi here from downtown Seattle.
You can take the ferry to Bainbridge for a beautiful ride across the Puget Sound. You can walk onto the ferry, or drive on. It's a 30 minute ride from Seattle to Bainbridge (60 minute round trip). You’ll see a beautiful view of Seattle and get out on the water. There is also a public house bar in Bainbridge if you want to stop for a drink or bite to eat.
Harbor city has very good dim sum and Chinese food. If going for dim sum brunch on the weekend, allow yourself at least a 30 minute wait. Insider tip - drop someone in your party off at the door to put your name down while others are parking. It is located in the heart of Seattle's International District, which has lots of other great places to visit, such as Green Leaf, and a gigantic asian grocery store called Uwajimaya.
