The Sangeet is a joyful pre-wedding celebration filled with music, dancing, and vibrant energy. Traditionally rooted in Indian weddings, it’s a night where both families come together to perform dances, share stories, and kick off the festivities. Think of it as part concert, part dance party, and part variety show—with lots of color, sparkle, and fun!
5:00 pm - 11:00 pm
“Bold, Beautiful, and Ready to Celebrate” We’re blending cultures — and turning up the glam. Indian or Western Formal Attire welcome (Think sherwanis, saris, tuxes, gowns, or a killer jumpsuit.) Color is encouraged. Sequins and flair? Even better. Dress in whatever makes you feel your most celebratory self!
We chose House of Yes because it’s vibrant, bold, and unforgettable—just like the love we share. We’re throwing a wedding that blends tradition with our own spin on it, honoring where we come from while celebrating who we are now. There’s not a lot of precedent for a BIG GAY INDIAN AMERICAN wedding , so we’re making our own rules —full of joy, music, flavor, and moments to remember. You can expect a night that feels as New York as it gets: a mix of cultures, incredible food from all corners of the city, signature cocktails, live performances, and a packed dance floor. It’s going to be beautiful, delicious, heartfelt, and fun—and we can’t wait to share it with you.
