Can we bring our children?

Answer

We love your little ones dearly, but the events on Thursday and Friday will be adults-only. Kids are welcome and invited on Saturday for The Day After. We hope to see them then!

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Yes! Our dinner menu accommodates those who are gluten free and pescatarian. If there are any other dietary restrictions we need to consider please include as a note when you RSVP or reach out to Sammy directly!

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

We do not have a room block at any hotels, but if you go to the Travel tab on our website you'll see we've given you a head start on hotels and suggested neighborhoods for Airbnbs. If you need any additional help or clarification on where to stay please don't hesitate to reach out!

What is the weather and climate like in the area?

Answer

October in Austin is beautiful - you can expect warmer temps during the day (mid-high 70s) and cooler temps at night (mid-lower 60s).

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! Cocktail hour will be on the West lawn with tables inside as well. The reception will be on the East lawn and will be tented. The house will be open and available to guests all night.

What's the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

Woodbine Mansion has available parking around the venue and surrounding streets. However, we highly encourage our guests to utilize rideshares like Uber, Lyft, or Fetii to minimize traffic and avoid the potential for cars to be parked at the venue overnight. We will be providing transportation from Woodbine Mansion to the church for the ceremony, as well as transportation post-ceremony back to Woodbine Mansion for cocktail hour and the reception. If you are in need of transportation and would like to join us, please indicate so when you RSVP!

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

While we wish we could invite everyone, we kindly ask that you only bring the guests clearly listed on your invitation.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The Welcome Party (beer and wine only), Cocktail Hour, and Reception will all be open bar. For more specific details about each event please visit the "Schedule" page.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of the ceremony time. Exact timing to be determined.
