I met sweet Whit Whit a couple years ago at Southland. We were in the same small group + hit it off fairly quickly as discovered our love for the Bible, a good Marshall's haul, + cute brunch places. Three words to describe Whitley are: spontaneous, warm, + driven. I love & appreciate Whitley because she exudes grace and wisdom well beyond her years. She celebrates others so well. She was and is the biggest cheerleader in my relationship with Nick. She is a prayer warrior and is a natural at speaking life into existence. She is the epitome of an intentional, loyal, and lifelong friend.

I met Kimbo Slice in August 2017 while we were both leaders for Southland's youth group. Right from the start, her heart complimented mine as we both share a desire to impact the next generation, appreciate restful weekends, + tend to be very dramatic in humor. Three words to describe Kim are: integrity-minded, confident, + refreshing. I love & appreciate Kim because she challenges me to raise the bar in not only my character, but also in my relationship with Jesus. Plus, I am so grateful that I have a friend that makes me laugh until my stomach hurts.

I met Taylor Ann way back in the second grade. We did not have a great start as she preferred to play football with the boys while I played cheerleader on the sidelines during recess. In the midst of tomboy meets girly girl...we created a friendship that is rooted deep. Three words to describe Tay are: joyful, free-spirited, + hardworking. No one has ever made me my pee my pants laughing more than Taylor Ann. I love & appreciate Taylor because she brings the best out in others by loving on them so well. My smile is through the roof when we are together.

I met Katrina in the fall of 2013 at Bethel University in our education classes. We connected through shopping, Sweet Martha's Cookies, + a newfound love for the Lord. Katrina & I shared an incredibly similar lifestyle throughout college & we were absolutley stuck at the hip for 3 1/2 years. Three words to describe Katrina are: thoughtful, humble, + passionate. I love & appreciate Katrina because she puts others first. Her heart is incredibly kind and she has an inner beauty that only magnifies the gorgeous woman that she is on the outside.

I met Jamie in 6th grade and we grew close through our church's small group and our years growing up together. We share some of the best childhood memories as she is formally known as Century Middle School's Hannah Montana in our 7th grade talent show. Three words to describe Jamie are: well-rounded, bright, + young-at-heart. I love & appreciate Jamie because she is incredibly relatable. She makes others feel invited and welcome to any table. She is an incredible witness of Christ's acceptance + love.

Hanna Knutson

I met Knutz sometime in elementary school. My first memory is the both of us dressing up as munchkins in the community Wizard of Oz play. I still don't know if Nick has recovered from seeing that picture of us. Three words to describe Han are: inclusive, successful, + optimistic. I love & appreciate Hanna because she is always available. Every single day in college I used to call Han on the phone and chat for hours. As she now lives in Colorado...we still hold true to our weekly phone calls. She is a woman that is a team player and truly wants what is best for her friends.

I met little miss Kayelee in 2004 while I was in the third grade. Fifteen years later and we've learned a lot about one another not only as roommates, but also as sisters. For instance, I borrow without asking and she now hides her things. We both think we are ridiculously funny and will go to all lengths to have the last batch of Oreos with milk. Three words to describe Kayelee are: cool, calm, + collected. I love & appreciate Kayelee because she has an inner confidence that expresses a kind-hearted, supportive, + thoughtful character. For the record, I think Nick would agree that Kayelee is the funnier gal of the Parks duo.

I met Anna in the 7th grade on the Starliners dance team in middle school. My earliest memories with her include bobby pins, hairspray, and fake eyelashes. It has been so hilarious to reminisce at all the wacky dance costumes + traditions we experienced. I am so grateful that we've continued to make memories since then. Three words to describe Anna are: welcoming, easygoing, + fun. I love & appreciate Anna because she has been incredibly inviting into the Roth family from the start. Our lives have now come full circle and I could not be more thrilled to gain a sister like Anna.

Sam is one of a kind. If he has an interest in something there is no such thing as general knowledge. He will spend hours researching and reading customer reviews and whatever else he does to become an expert. This goes for his hobbies or if he wants to buy a pair of underwear. I'm not kidding you, he has spreadsheets. Attention to detail doesn't go missing with this guy and I absolutely love that. Oh and we built a freaking boat together - that was cool.

This guy definitely wouldn't have gotten the whole "most likely to succeed" in high school but I think your theme song should be "look at me now". Wife, house, stud of a hunting dog and some of the best friends you'll ever meet. Luke's work ethic and humbleness are commendable but I think the best part is that no matter how busy life and work get, intentionality with family and friends remains. Oh, and I've never heard a better wedding speech. His own wedding. Addressing the guests. You just had to be there.

This freaking guy. You'll want to meet him. Max will be the life of the party and then be the first one up to clean the next morning. He's always been one not crazed by fitting in but enjoying the thrill of being his own person. Max was wearing skinny jeans before skinny jeans were in. One of the funniest guys you'll ever meet and then without skipping a beat cares deeply about what's going on in your life. He's the first to drop everything to meet up. Love this guy.
