Wedding Day Shuttle

Shuttles will pick up guests at the following locations & times: Hampton Inn - 4:15pm, 4:45pm, 5:00pm Wells Hotel - 4:30pm Fairway Forest - 4:30pm **If you are staying at Fairway Forest, please call or text the planner with your unit number on Friday so that the shuttle can get you- Kelly Brownstein - 941-268-1081** **If you are not staying at one of the options above and would like to take a shuttle, you are able to park your own vehicle at the Hampton Inn and take one of the shuttles. **Alternatively, you are welcome to park at Canyon Kitchen but please note that parking is limited. Shuttles will run continuously after the wedding until all guests are safely home.
Flight
Asheville Regional Airport
If traveling by air, the Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) is closest and is a 1 hour drive from the Cashiers/Sapphire area. Delta, American, and United offer direct flights to Asheville from all over the U.S. Southwest Airlines does not offer service to Asheville. Instead, you could fly into Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) which is a 1 hour 45 minute drive to the Cashiers/Sapphire area. A rental car is highly recommended given the remote nature of the destination. Cell phone coverage can be spotty in the mountains so relying on Uber is not recommended. Alternatively, a car service to/from the airport could be an option, provided you have access to rides via friends or family once in the Cashiers/Sapphire area.

This boutique hotel is located in downtown Cashiers and just a 10 minute drive from the wedding venue at Lonesome Valley. The Wells is walkable to several places including the popular Whiteside Brewing Company.
House Or Rental
House Rental Options
Airbnb, VRBO, and Landmark Vacation Rentals (local company that is a bit cheaper) offer dozens of house rental options in the area. Neighboring towns of Cashiers, Highlands, Lake Glenville, and Lake Toxaway are recommended and are generally within 20-45 minutes of Lonesome Valley. Other recommended hotels/resorts include High Hampton Resort, Old Edwards Inn & Spa, and the Greystone Inn. Please note that this is a busy time of the year for the area so it is recommended to book accommodations as quickly as possible.
