We went here on our first date. Needless to say, we had a blast!
Just 20 minutes west of Downtown Denver, Golden has more of the small mountain town feel with cute boutique shops and lots of hiking trails nearby. Golden is also home to the legendary Colorado School of Mines. One of our favorites is to visit the giant M that lights up the side of Look Out Mountain.
Red Rocks Amphitheater is a naturally formed, world-famous outdoor venue just fifteen miles west of Denver. Red Rocks is typically open for the public during the day and recognized for its awe-inspiring hiking and biking trails.
A 2.5 mile loop around the park, this is Riley's favorite place to walk. And just around the corner is the cute Gaylord street, with many options for a quick bite to eat.
Made up of Highlands Square, Tennyson St, and LoHi, this neighborhood has some of the city's most innovative restaurants & bars and incredible views of the Highland Bridge and downtown Denver.
1. Table Mountain Inn: Located in the Golden Colorado Hotel, this adobe style restaurant is our all time favorite! (1310 Washington Ave, Golden) 2. Adelitas Cocina Y Cantina: One of Denver's best spots for Mexican (1294 S Broadway, Denver) 3. Mazevo: Tim and Riley love trying different Mediterranean spots. We recommend this one for its hummus and its fun location off of Tennyson St. (3961 Tennyson St, Denver) 4. Jerusalems: The most authentic Middle Eastern cuisine in the city. (1890 E Evans Ave, Denver) 5. Post Oak: The "holy grail" of BBQ. Enough said. (4000 Tennyson St, Denver) 6. Little Man's Ice Cream
