Wedding Party

Read a little bit about the people who will be standing beside us on our big day! We could not live without them.

Laura Richardson

Matron of Honor

Riley and Laura met nearly 20 years ago in 3rd grade and have been inseparable ever since. Though they've been long-distance best friends for a while, they share fond memories of childhood sleepovers, being obsessed with One Direction, and doing marching band together in high school. Despite the miles between them, they make time for sometimes multi-weekly phone calls and Facetimes. Laura is not only a chosen sister, but a soulmate, too.

Denna Walker

Matron of Honor

Tay and Denna met at the end of Tay's freshman year of high school while helping a mutual friend with a video project. The first time they interacted, Tay was wearing a bedsheet toga. Their friendship is marked by a mutual love of K-Pop, a litter of rabbits they raised together, and Denna making Tay try new foods she turned out to love. Despite living across the country from each other, their friendship continues to thrive on daily texts and gaming sessions.

Rachel Hall

Bridesmaid

Riley met Rachel during their freshman year at Saint Mary's College while auditioning to be in the Notre Dame Marching Band. They were roommates their sophomore, junior, and senior years and became so close that their friends would often call them by each others' names. Some of Riley's favorite memories with Rachel involve sharing many a Papa John's pizza while watching RuPaul's Drag Race and Family Feud.

Andrea Amavisca

Bridesmaid

Tay and Andrea have been friends for nearly two decades. They met in 5th grade when Andrea showed an interest in joining 4-H, and Tay was more than happy to help her get started. They have seen each other through every awkward phase and angsty teen breakdown. Distance and time have no impact on their longstanding friendship, and they are able to pick up right where they left off each time they are reunited (which is not nearly enough).

Kathleen Williams

Bridesmaid

Riley and Katie always used to joke that they "should talk more," and they finally grew close before their time at Saint Mary's came to an end, first through a shared love of everything Boygenius, then through a post-graduation Florida trip. Katie is the biggest fan of Riley's clarinet interpretation of the Chicken Dance, and Riley cherishes Katie's fellow Gemini honesty and sense of humor.

Vanessa Blanco

Bridesmaid

Tay and Vanessa met during Tay's sophomore year of high school. They shared a mutual love of Paramore and Thursday night youth group. Some of Tay's best memories from living in Brawley include driving around with Vanessa, getting ramen together, and watching The Boyz "Flower Snack" every weekend. Now, they continue to bond over how much they love Hayley Williams and miss watching The Society on Netflix.
