FAQs

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask our guests to join us in formal attire. For ladies, this typically means a floor-length dress or a chic cocktail dress. For the guys, a suit and tie (or tux if you’re feeling fancy) is perfect.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Please check your invitation for details. If your envelope was addressed to you and a guest, then yes! Otherwise, we kindly request that you attend solo so we can celebrate together in a more intimate setting.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

March on Amelia Island is typically mild and pleasant, with daytime temps in the low 70s and evenings in the 50s–60s. Since we’ll be by the water, a wrap, shawl, or light jacket is a good idea for later in the evening.

Question

Is transportation provided?

Answer

ALL wedding guests will utilize our scheduled Omni Shuttles on the day of the wedding. Guests that are staying at the resort will head to the Conference Center Shuttle Pick Up where the shuttles will take guests to Walkers Landing. Trams will begin 45 minutes prior to ceremony start time and will continuously pick up guests every 15 minutes until the start of ceremony. Transportation will be provided at the end of the night back to your vehicles & hotel. Guests that are NOT staying on property - When you arrive at the security gate, reference “Chaisson & Aiken Wedding” and then park in the parking garage located off Beach Walker Rd. Then you will head to the Conference Center Shuttle Pick Up where the shuttles will take guests to Walkers Landing. Any guests that are unable to take the shuttles due to injury or need to have their vehicle with them for personal reasons may drive to Walkers Landing. No more than 10 cars are suggested to park at Walkers Landing (vendors included)

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Please see the "Travel" tab for hotel block information!

Question

What time is check-in at the Omni?

Answer

Check-in time at the resort is 4:00 PM. Since the ceremony also begins at 4:00 PM, we encourage guests to consider arriving the day before to fully relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. For those planning to arrive on the day of the wedding, please note that early check-in, while we strive to provide it, cannot be 100% guaranteed. We recommend coming fully dressed and ready to enjoy the festivities right away. Guests that are not staying on property or book third-party (VRBO, Airbnb) - Please note that guests not staying through Omni Amelia Island Resort will not have access to Omni amenities, including the beach, pool, lounge, etc.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony—we’d love for you to be fully present with us! Our photographer will capture everything, and we’ll share photos afterward. Once the reception begins, snap away and tag us in your memories!

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside. The reception will take place indoors.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please kindly RSVP by February 1st!
