Jenn was born in Brooklyn, New York but has lived in Utah for over 20 years now. She has been teaching history at Taylorsville High School for 5 years and is currently working on her Masters of Education from UVU. She enjoys movies, board games, being terrible at pickleball, reading, cooking and spending time with Riley. She is very excited to marry her love.
Riley Thompson
Groom
Riley is 32 years old and is from Utah, he works as a marketing coordinator. He enjoys woodworking and has only lost part of one finger so far but is looking forward to many more projects. His favorite thing to do is be with Jenn and his friends. Besides that he enjoys pop culture, gaming, and other hobbies. He loves Jenn and can't wait for them to start their life together.
Veronica Palomino
Mother of the Bride
Veronica was born in Guayquil, Ecuador but moved to New York (where she eventually met Juan Carlos) when she was 16. Veronica prides herself on the fact that she made her 3 children speak Spanish at home and is hoping that Riley will learn it someday. She enjoys spending time with Juan Carlos, watching crime tv shows and action movies, visiting her grandkids, and calling Jenn to remind her to make her bed.
Juan Carlos Palomino
Father of the Bride
Juan Carlos is from Cartagena, Colombia. Jenn likes to tell people about the time she thought she was going to get in trouble for standing up to her neighborhood bully as a kid by punching him in the nose and Juan simply responded, "next time hit him harder". Juan Carlos is responsible for helping Jenn appreciate and love the New York Yankees, Star Wars, and good food.
Dorothy Thompson
Mother of the Groom
Dorothy is one of 6 kids from Cache Valley (where she met her husband Terrence). Her love of Disney is only surpassed by the love of her family, but she has passed the love of disney down to her family. She has been putting up with Riley's antics for around 30 years and seems to tolerate him. She is known for her world-famous refried beans and being the organizer of the family.
Terrance Thompson
Father of the Groom
Terrence is Riley's father and is from Northern California. He has been teaching Riley useful skills for most of his life and some of them have even stuck. He made sure to show Riley the classic movies every Friday growing up, installing a lifelong love of movies. He and Riley share a love of woodworking, tie-die, and Star Trek. He is known for always being helpful if you need anything, as well as his amazing Navajo Tacos.
Brady Dalton
Best Man
Brady and Riley's friendship both began and almost ended in the fall of 2011. After hitting it off with shared interests such as: the rapper Childish Gambino, the movie Warrior, and a love of Marvel superheroes, they become quick friends. Soon after though, they hit rocky waters when their co-worker Amanda Sondregger broke Riley's car ice scraper and blamed it on Brady. After finding out the truth, the friendship has continued stronger than ever, as they've had countless adventures together.
Chase Thompson

Chase is Riley's older brother, knowing him since the day he was born and they've been friends for most of that time. Sharing a room growing up, Chase would share his music with Riley, making him the coolest 3rd grader around. He and Riley enjoy bonding over pocket knives, pop culture, and video games. They still get together from time to time.
Tyler Voorhees

Tyler and Riley first met when they were 8 years old. Their first meeting did not go well as Tyler punched and pushed Riley off of a trampoline. After getting over this event they have been friends since. Sharing things like: trying to hide that they're nerds from others (unsuccessfully), going boating, and countless camping trips.
Jacob "Kreatch" Hereth
Groomsman
Riley and Jacob (Kreatch" as he is known to his friends) became friends in 2013 when he moved up to Logan. Besides attending USU games together, they've done Disney trips and both worked at the USU Phonathon for years. They continue to be friends to this day and often game with each other online.
Caitlin Thomas
Maid of Honor
Jenn first met Caitlin after befriending her older sister Courtney. They spent a lot of time together in the summer of 2012, mostly completely items off of Jenn's "Pre Mission Summer Bucket List" (including staging a fake proposal in which Caitlin pretended to get engaged so Jenn could start a slow clap in public). Jenn will often introduce Caitlin to people as the "light of her life" and thinks it is a perfectly normal way to address her best friend. She was the perfect candidate for Maid of Honor.
Carolina Silva
Matron of Honor
Carolina is married to Jenn's older brother Will and has essentially filled the role of the big sister Jenn always wanted for over 17 years now. Carolina tolerated Jenn for many years until she finally grew out of her terrible angsty teenage phase and they now enjoy a close relationship. Carolina supports Jenn in her pursuits of being a foodie (often serving as taste tester for new recipes) as well as always being willing to answer medical related questions as Jenn's go to nurse.
Alexis Jones

These two first met when one of Jenn's friends started working at the local Subway with Lexi in high school. But since they had one class together that they both never went to, their friendship did not grow until after graduation. While Lexi was attending Snow College with Courtney, she invited Jenn and Amelia to her birthday party in Ephraim not thinking they would actually show up. Well they did and they have all been friends ever since. Lexi is a talented earring maker and Jenn can usually be found rocking some of her creations. You can check out her work at thelobeshack.com. Lexi still remembers Jenn's Subway order to this day.
Alissa Allen

Alissa (or Thunborg as she is known to Jenn) grew up in Saratoga Springs just like Jenn but they did not formally meet until they were serving in the Spain, Madrid mission together. After their missions, they continued their friendship and even got to serve in a Relief Society presidency together for 2 years in their YSA Church ward. Jenn appreciates that Alissa never gives her crap for being a terrible texter and they can get together to catch up and share the same stories over and over.
Amelia Vallen

Jenn and Amelia first met in a German class in 8th grade, where they learned little to no German but found a lifelong friendship where they bonded over music, pop culture, and things no one else thought was as funny as they did. In high school, they were a true dynamic duo and were inseparable. Amelia would often act as Jenn's assistant by making her schedule and screening her calls. Amelia is considered an unofficial sister of the Palomino siblings and is dearly loved in the family. Jenn refers to Amelia as her platonic soulmate.
Bekah Haws

Bekah and Jenn first met as brand new missionaries in the Madrid MTC where they bonded over commiserating over the lack of ranch dressing. During their time in Spain, they were able to visit a lot of cool places and have great adventures together (including the time they spent 2 hours looking for a castle that ended up just being a restaurant in Aranjuez). Their friendship continues to this day based on a mutual love of good food and inside jokes that no one else thinks is as funny as they do.

Bri Bri, as she is known to Jenn, is Jenn's baby cousin. Jenn's favorite story to tell about her cousin is the time she received a phone call and was asked to write a break up text for Bri because Jenn had told her to call if she ever needed ANYTHING. They enjoy family karaoke sessions, sharing chisme, eating good food together and hyping each other up.
Chelsey (Clay) Nation

Jenn and Clay met while serving the Spain, Madrid Mission. They met and immediately did not like each other, until 6 months later they were assigned as companions in the city of Cuenca. During that time they quickly changed their minds about each other and became close friends. Since those times they have shared many adventures together, including Jenn's favorite story to tell: helping deliver Chelsey's first baby. As long as everything goes well, Chelsey will be at the wedding fresh after delivering baby #2 and hopefully Jenn will not be in the delivery room this time around.
Courtney Thompson

Jenn met Courtney in high school but their friendship did not blossom until after they had both graduated. Jenn claims the moment she knew they would be best friends for many years was at a house party where Courtney saved some Pizza Rolls for Jenn because she knew it was her favorite snack. Jenn often refers to Courtney as her "life coach" because she is one of the first people Jenn goes to for advice. Jenn and Erika first met in high school when Erika started dating Jenn's best friend Cyler. Jenn will often say that Erika was her favorite of Cyler's girlfriends, not just because they ended up getting married but because Erika was the only girlfriend that actually showed interest in being real friends with Jenn. While Jenn was in college, she would often go to the Rodabough's for dinner where Erika would offer a listening ear and advice for her dating woes. Jenn is grateful to have her join the party on the big day.

Cyler and Jenn became friends when they were 16 years old and bonded over working at Smiths together, good music, riding in his little blue truck and all sorts of shenanigans. One of Jenn’s favorite stories to tell about Cyler is asking him to her last dance her Senior year by getting him pulled over with a fake ticket and he got her back by getting her questioned by the school cop. There are far more stories that can’t be shared on the internet but Jenn is excited to have Cyler be a part of the big day as an official “Brosmaid”

Jenn and Alex have been friends since the age of 16 when he was known as simply “Sideburns”. Jenn has always appreciated and bonded with Alex over his love of food, old music, 90s Freddie Prinze Jr. movies, and board game prowess. There’s a story that has been the cause of many debates over the years. Jenn may or may not have hit Alex with a car once but it’s been only a small speed bump (no pun intended) in the course of their friendship. Jenn is excited to have Alex as a “Brosmaid” in the wedding party.
