Jenn and Riley first met back in the summer of 2017 through a dating app called Mutual. However after 2 dates, they ghosted each other. 3 years later they reconnected and went out on their 2nd first date. They met up for ice cream (after Riley accidentally got the location wrong and showed up at a different Handel's), and after a night of great conversation, Riley asked Jenn if she had ever been to Gilgal Gardens in Salt Lake City, to which she responded she had... with him... on their first date 3 years earlier (yes, he had forgotten who she was). After initially thinking this was the end again, Jenn tried to let Riley off the hook but he continued to take her out and they have been together ever since.

A little after the anniversary of their 2nd first date, Riley planned a dinner at Rodizio Grill or so Jenn thought. When she arrived at Trolley Square, Riley told Jenn to come find him at Gilgal Gardens (the location of their 1st first date) a block away. When Jenn arrived, there were rose petals and a sign that simply said "So glad a 2nd chance became the #1 thing in my life". And with one of their many songs playing in the background, Riley got down on one knee and popped the question. Jenn excitedly said yes and now here we are. We are so excited to start this next chapter in our lives and celebrate with you!
