HER STORY

I had a friend come to me and mention that her boyfriend had a friend that they were trying to set up. So she asked if I wanted to do a double date with them and of course, I said yes. I did some digging first and might have stalked him a little bit on instagram and facebook. I do have to say that I thought he was pretty good looking. So, we planned for a double date to happen, but then I ended up getting grounded, so I had to cancel. However, I was still interested and curious about this guy, I decided to reach out to him over instagram. Since, I was still in high school we decided to meet at Starbucks on my lunch break. I remember being so nervous: what if he isn't like I thought, what if he didn't like me, and what if he doesn't show up. But to my surprise, I see him walk in. I remember seeing him sit down and the first thing I noticed was how soft and beautiful his hazel eyes were. We started talking, you could tell that we were both nervous by the tone of our voice. The whole time a remember that Colton would not look at me the whole time he would talk, he would glance at me and then stare through the window and continue his sentence. I thought it was kinda cute. My lunch break was almost over, so I had say by and head back. You can't forget about that awkward hug we gave each other before we left. That one coffee date, just hit us off, I guess.

HIS STORY:

My first impression of Riley was unforgettable, my friends girlfriend sets us up to go on a double date with them I hadn’t met Riley yet or even talked her. But, I remember having a conversation with my buddy and him explaining to me that she couldn’t go because her mom had grounded her. This was a new concept to me I was just finishing my second year of college and hadn’t been grounded since I was young so it threw me off a bit. Fortunately, Riley decided to slide into my DM’s and introduce herself and apologize for getting grounded. We ended up meeting up at Starbucks one day for a quick coffee date on her lunch break. I might’ve been a little nervous, Riley always talks about how I wouldn’t hold eye contact with her but I must’ve been doing something right because she said yes to another date. But it was funny how things came full circle, I found out she used to dance with my sister Beth. Which means I was probably watching my future wife dance and obviously had know clue. But the rest is history and now Rileys grounding me when i’m being bad.
