Think intimate, relaxed, and experience-focused. This won’t be a traditional wedding with formalities or a dance floor - it’s a sunset ceremony on the water followed by dinner, drinks, and time spent celebrating together.
We’re going for a summer semi-formal look for our evening aboard the Craft Tampa. Think polished but comfortable. For example, midi or maxi dresses, dressy sets, or jumpsuits for women in breathable fabrics like linen, cotton, chiffon, or satin, and button-downs or polos with slacks or chinos for men (jackets optional). Since we’ll be on the water in July, lightweight materials and comfortable shoes are recommended. Craft does enforce a dress code, so please avoid overly casual or non-compliant attire such as overly revealing or sheer clothing, heavily distressed pieces, or anything with offensive graphics. Overall, aim for effortless, put-together, and summer-ready!
July in Tampa is warm and humid, with evening temperatures around the mid-to-high 70s. The boat is air-conditioned, but it may feel cooler indoors or breezy on the water, so a light layer is recommended.
Since our celebration begins later in the evening, we do recommend having a late lunch or a light bite beforehand if you think you may get hungry early. Boarding and cocktails will begin before dinner service, and charcuterie boards will be available on each table as guests are seated and settled in. Our seated meal will begin a little later in the evening following the ceremony.
We wanted to plan something that felt true to us - intentional, simple, and centered around the people we love most. We also recently found out we’re expecting, and it felt really special to us to be married before welcoming our baby. While it’s a shorter timeline, it allows us to create a meaningful, intimate experience with our closest friends and family.
We completely understand - please don’t feel any pressure at all. We know this is a shorter timeline and that travel isn’t always easy. While we would absolutely love to celebrate with you, your support from afar means just as much to us 🤍
There’s no set expectation at all - come for what works best for you! You’re welcome to travel in just for the wedding on Saturday or make a full weekend (or longer) out of it. We’ll also be hosting a casual brunch on Sunday to celebrate baby, and we’d love for anyone who’s still in town to join us - but truly, no pressure either way 🤍
We are so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! Due to our venue capacity and the intimate nature of the weekend, our wedding events are invite-only, and we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation.
We’re keeping our celebration small, so we are only able to extend plus ones to guests who are named on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!
We have a room block at the The Barrymore Hotel Tampa Riverwalk and would love for you to stay there with us - it’s where we’ll be all weekend! If you prefer, there are also plenty of nearby hotels and Airbnbs throughout Tampa. Areas like Downtown, Channelside, and Hyde Park are all great, central options. No matter where you choose, we recommend staying within a 10-20 minute drive of our venue at Craft Tampa for convenience.
You can reserve your room at our discounted rate by using the booking link provided in the "Lodging & Travel" tab. The room block is available at the The Barrymore Hotel Tampa Riverwalk for both King and Double rooms (approximately $165 per night). We recommend booking early, as rooms are limited and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
We recommend flying into Tampa International Airport (TPA), which is about a 15–20 minute drive from the The Barrymore Hotel Tampa Riverwalk. Uber and Lyft are the easiest options and typically cost around $20–$35 depending on time of day. Rental cars are also available at the airport if you prefer.
Transportation to and from the airport will not be provided, but getting to the hotel is quick and easy. The Tampa International Airport is just about a 15-20 minute drive from the The Barrymore Hotel Tampa Riverwalk, and Uber/Lyft are readily available.
Both! Our celebration will take place aboard the Craft Tampa, which offers indoor, air-conditioned seating as well as outdoor deck space. Guests are welcome to move between both throughout the evening.
Yes! While Craft Tampa does not have a dedicated parking lot, there are several convenient garages and lots within a short walking distance in the Channelside/Downtown area, including nearby public parking garages and cruise terminal parking. Parking is generally easy to find, but we recommend arriving a bit early to allow time to park and walk to the dock. Rideshare services like Uber or Lyft are also a great option for a seamless arrival.
Please RSVP by June 25, 2026 so we can finalize our guest count with the venue.
Yes, we do have a registry! In lieu of a traditional wedding registry, we kindly ask that any gifts be directed toward our Babylist baby registry as we prepare for this next chapter growing our family together. You can find all the details on the Registry page of our website or @ https://my.babylist.com/riley-dixon-registry
Feel free to reach out to Chris, Riley, Jennifer, or Patty at anytime - we’re happy to help!
