We met in Physician Assistant school at Mississippi College in 2022 and became friends over the following year. By August 2023, we went on our first date to a local Mexican restaurant — not my favorite, but it’s one we’ll always remember with a smile. After graduating in 2024, we both began our careers in orthopedics and started a new adventure together in Mandeville, Louisiana. On Easter weekend of 2025, Riley completely surprised me with the most thoughtful proposal. He had been secretly planning with our families for months, and it truly was the best day ever — one I’ll never forget. We’re so excited to begin this next chapter as husband and wife and can’t wait to celebrate surrounded by all the people we love most.
