If you asked our moms how we met, they’d say it was during our time together at SMU. But the truth is, we missed each other by four years! In fact, we met in true modern fashion: on a dating app. We bonded early over books and volleyball and had our first date at Mi Cocina in Klyde Warren Park. We couldn’t stop talking, and the dates kept coming. Before long, those dates turned into meeting each other’s families and traveling together. From that very first night, we both knew this was something special. We are both outgoing, but balance each other well and fit together in a way that felt natural from the start. What started with one date quickly became a life we couldn’t imagine without the other.
