The Heights Rooftop is an indoor-outdoor space on top of the Courtyard hotel across from Kinnick Stadium. You can reach it via the hotel's elevator, and head to the top floor. The ceremony will be outside on the rooftop patio (unless it's too hot/raining!), and everything else will be indoors and air-conditioned. There is free parking at the venue!

What hotel should I stay in?

Our venue sits on top of the Courtyard Hotel - it's important to us that you can dance the night away without worrying how you'll get home! Go to the "Travel" tab above to find more information, and click the "View" button to book a room via our discounted hotel block.

what is the dress code?

Answer

We recommend semi-formal/cocktail attire. It will also be warm and humid, so light and breezy fabrics will likely feel best. Dress in whatever colors you like, and come in whatever makes you feel like you’re dressed your best!

when should i arrive to the venue?

Answer

Doors opens at 4:30 PM. Come right at 4:30 to enjoy good company before the ceremony, or make sure to arrive by 4:50 at the latest. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00.

Are plus-ones welcome?

Answer

Official invitations will specify the names and/or number of seats we have reserved for your household. Due to venue capacity limitations, it's important that we have no unexpected guests. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us!

What will we eat?

Answer

We will have some light bites available during cocktail hour, and there will be a choice of four plated entrees at dinner. Children ages 12 and under will receive an entree of chicken tenders and french fries. For infants and toddlers, please let us know if they need a meal, and if you need anything else (e.g., high chair).
