Barnes Family Home
We’ve rented a beautiful house in Southwest Harbor, ME for the entire week of the wedding, and we’d love for our guests to stay with us—free of charge! Whether you join for just the wedding night or the whole week, there’s plenty of space to relax, swim, hike, bike, connect, and celebrate together. Think of it as our shared home base for the festivities. This home will be reserved for our close friends. The Barnes House is an old home with lots of coastal Maine charm. Rieley's best friend, Charlotte (who will be with us) and her family have had the house since the 1930s. Rieley has stayed at the house twice with Charlotte's family and has had an amazing stay both times. There are two and a half bathrooms, 5 bedrooms, and sleeping arrangements for about 10 people. One important thing to note is that there is only one shower, and it is outdoors however, the two indoor bathrooms have bath tubs that are fully functional. There is no TV or AC, but the weather is usually warm during the day and cool at night making for a comfortable sleep. There is a fully equipped kitchen.

We've rented this property near the Barnes Homestead for our immediate families to stay at for the duration of the week. This rental will begin Saturday, August 8th through Saturday, August 15th.
