Is there a dress code?
Answer
We invite our guests to dress in cocktail or semi-formal attire. Think light, fresh, and vibrant—perfect for the season! Women may choose a dress, skirt, or tailored pants with a lovely blouse, while men can wear a suit or dressy blazer with slacks. Feel free to embrace soft pastels, floral prints, and light fabrics, but please avoid wearing black tie or formal evening wear. Comfort and style are key—our celebration will be relaxed but elegant.

Am I allowed to take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
No. We are opting for a more intimate and personal unplugged wedding ceremony. An unplugged ceremony is a request for our guests to put away, silence or turn off all of their devices (cell phones, cameras, etc.) for the duration of the ceremony. We have an amazing photographer who we have hired to photograph our wedding. If Riece see's you on your phone, she will ask you to put it away just like she does to her students when they have their phones out in class.

How do I RSVP?
Answer
You can mail back your RSVP card, or you may use the link/QR code provided on your invitation! We do not have a preference and are fine with what is more convenient for you.

What date should I RSVP by?
Answer
The deadline to RSVP for the wedding will be February 21st. We do appreciate you doing it at your earliest convenience!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Answer
Please refer to your digital RSVP page as it will designate who is invited to the wedding. Please don't feel obligated to bring a plus one if there is the option, we'll just be happy to have you in attendance!

What type of food will be served?
Answer
We will be having Bar-B-Q catered by Thin Blue Smokery. This will include prime brisket, smoked turkey, mac-n-cheese, green beans, and loaded mashed potatoes.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
We will have a cash bar available, and the first round is on us! The bar will have beer, mixed drinks, and some wine. We are unable to have straight liquor or shots at our venue. The bartender will accept most forms of payment.

Will it be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors. The chapel has open walls that allow for gorgeous views and natural light. The reception will be held indoors, with the bar being outside. Please refer to the venue's website if further clarification in needed. https://chapelatgruene.com/the-venue

Where should I stay?
Answer
While we have blocked off rooms under the 'Hotels' tab of the website. There are many amazing places to stay in New Braunfels or San Marcos. With this being a fairly central location we're blessed with lots of options.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! A wedding card box and gift table will be at our reception. If you would like to honor us with a gift, we welcome you to look at our registry within the website. There will be a gift table at our reception or you can send them to our home address at: 4030 Brownwood Circle Corpus Christi, TX 78410
