Maumee Bay State Park offers several hiking and biking trails throughout the surrounding natural wetlands and along the Lake Erie shoreline. Free and open to the public, these trails also connect directly to the Lodge for easy accessibility, and several points offer great spots for an outdoor picnic. Sports & Outdoors
Maumee Bay offers plenty of facilities for sports and recreation. Available facilities on-site include: tennis courts, pickle ball courts, basketball courts, indoor and outdoor pools, a game room, horseshoe pits, canoes and paddleboats, and an indoor game room. Cedar Point
If you’re looking for things to do, Cedar Point is the must-do destination. It's home to 70 amazing rides, live shows, immersive dining, and signature summer events. The amusement park has a little bit of something for every thrill-seeker. And summer splashes are right next door at the Cedar Point Shores Waterpark with its multiple water gadgets, pools for little ones and slides for the whole family. Toledo Zoo & Aquarium
The Toledo Zoo & Aquarium, located in Toledo, Ohio, is a member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA), and is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), through the year 2022. The Toledo Zoo & Aquarium houses over 10,000 individual animals that cover 720 species. With a large focus on conservation efforts, the Toledo Zoo & Aquarium currently participates in over 80 species survival programs. Acclaimed by national golf publications, the Maumee Bay Golf Course covers 1,850 acres of protected wetlands and follows the beautiful north coast of Ohio. Arthur Hills designed this 18-hole, par-72 course in 1991 to challenge golfers of all skill levels. Enjoy its Scottish-links layout and sweeping views of the surrounding natural beauty. Eagle's Landing Golf Club
Eagle's Landing Golf Club is a beautiful 18-hole championship golf course in Oregon, Ohio, just east of Toledo. A public course, designed by architect Brian Huntley, which is located on the southwestern shore of Lake Erie and close to many popular recreation areas. Ottawa Park Golf Course
Open to the public and positioned within the City of Toledo's historic Ottawa Park, this 18-hole course was designed by architect Arthur Hills and boasts 5,079 yards with a 71 par. The course is recognized by the USGA National Public Links Championship and is known for its fine greens of modern day excellence, which are placed through natural settings "clearly intended for a golf course."
