She still thinks Clearwater Beach is better, she's probably right. Miami Beach is 45 minutes from the venue. Parking is impossible and traffic can be tough, but the food/drinks are good.

Make your way out west and pet yourself a swamp kitty! The everglades offers some great family friendly airboat tours, it's also a great place to dump a body...
Family fun option if you wanna have some fun with the kiddos. Sorry guys, Jordan won't be there for you to see that day. Feel free to feed him at the wedding though.
Here's another kid friendly option, the Miami Children's Museum. Other kid friendly activities include: Pinecrest Gardens and Monkey Jungle!
The only requirement for the Southern most point: Take us with you if you go. Des thought it was called Key West cause it looked like a key, which it kinda does. The Keys are home to Ernest Hemingway, pastel buildings, crystal water, and elderly in G strings. (Jordan typed this one obviously) It's about a 4 hour drive from the venue to get to the southern-most island, but Key Largo is a closer option. There's also Key Biscayne which is not actually part of the keys but a nice place by the city.
Abuela brings us this every time we're in town. Try some Cuban pastries, coffee, and our favorite croquettes! We also recommend trying a variety of Caribbean foods while you're in town including Jamaican, Haitian, Dominican, etc.
