Travel Note
Yes, you need one! We recommend doing it now, as it takes a minimum of 6 weeks - usually longer, to get one, not including the time it takes to get a passport photo, etc… We recommend going to CVS to get your passport photo. You can walk in, and they make it very easy! If you already have a passport, great! Please go check on the expiration date to make sure the expiration is at least six months after the dates of your travel. There is conflicting information on the internet about the need for this passport expiration restriction with regard to travel to Mexico, but best to be safe. Click "View" for information on how to obtain a passport.

Travel Note
We recommend flying into SJD San José del Cabo International Airport, which is only a 20 minute drive from Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos! Airport to Hotel Options: 1. The option we recommend the most is reserving a privately owned shuttle company. You can reserve with them on their website. They’ll hold a sign with your name on it, and serve you beer upon arrival! They are also a fairly affordable option. Tell them “Justin Vincent referred them” https://www.magictransferscabo.com 2. Shared Shuttle at the airport. You can get a shared shuttle (we did this in November and it was $14 a person), and you'll wait until the shuttle has at least 4 people in it. Hyatt Ziva is the very first shared shuttle stop, so you won't have any other stops! No advance reservations required. 3. Private Taxi at the airport. You can get a private Taxi for around $50 and not wait for a shuttle to be full. 4. Pre-Scheduled Private Shuttle. Take the guesswork out and schedule a Private Shuttle in advance. You'll be greeted by your shuttle driver with some complimentary Cervesas! You can do this through the hotel for around $290 round trip. Important note: After you exit customs at the airport, pass all the people inside greeting you and go directly outside of the airport. The aforementioned greeters like to try to sell you timeshares, so just ignore them and go outside, which is where you will get a Taxi/Shuttle . If you have a Pre-Scheduled private shuttle, tell them you are walking to meet your pre-arranged ride, and they will leave you alone right away. Hotel to Airport: We took a 2 person private taxi that the front desk called for us, and it was a flat $30. If you book a round trip shuttle in advance, your ride will already be set up!
