The Wedding Website of Meghan Bucter and Ricky Ryan
Question

Will it be fun?

Answer

It is our priority to make this the most fun wedding in the history of the Earth.

Question

How long should I stay?

Answer

We often hear that the Wedding Day goes by so fast, and that Brides and Grooms get to spend only minimal time with their guests. We have family and friends all over the country that we rarely get to see who are so important to us. And, since most would be traveling anyway had we done a "local" wedding, we chose to get married at a destination we hope guests will be excited to travel to! Our hope, and why we chose to get married in Mexico at an all-inclusive vacation resort, is for all of our loved ones to be together with us for one big long tropical party so that we will be able to fully soak in the experience of enjoying time with everyone who means so much to us! The Wedding is Friday, May 26th, and while guests are welcome to stay in any capacity (room blocks are 3 nights minimum), it is our hope that most guests arrive Thursday May 25th, and head home on Tuesday May 30th, for a total of 5 nights. Keep in mind that Monday May 29th is Memorial Day, so Tuesday will be a more cost effective travel day! We also hope to plan a boat excursion for those still remaining on Monday May 29th, so check back later for more details. The bride and groom plan on leaving for their honeymoon on Wednesday May 31st.

Question

What's the deal with food at the resort?

Answer

There are several restaurants at the resort; all part of the all-inclusive. You can find more details about them here: https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/hotel/mexico/hyatt-ziva-los-cabos/sjdif/dining

Question

What should we do during the day in the hours before the wedding?

Answer

We know that getting your all-inclusive drink on may be tempting, but please keep in mind that we are looking forward to celebrating with our guests at the wedding, and we'd hate for our guests to get ahead of themselves before the real party! Here are some ideas of other fun things to do: Resort Spa Guests of the resort will get 10% off spa services as a part of our wedding package, so we recommend making an appointment for this day. Be sure to book far in advance to ensure availability. Contact the hotel's front desk to make an appointment. The resort has activities all week long that they post the week leading up to the wedding, so we'll post that on the website once they send us that information. See also our "Things to Do" tab.

Question

Do I need a Passport?

Answer

Yes, so please check the status of your passport immediately to make sure it will be valid through the end of 2023. Leave ample time to order and receive a new passport, as it can take a few months once you submit your application. See the Passport section of the Travel & Reservations tab for a link on information on getting or renewing a passport.

Question

Hints and Tips on Getting the Best Flight Prices

Answer

Download the Skyscanner App on your mobile device. This will compare all the prices and options from different Airlines. Note that this app excludes Southwest, so be sure to check Southwest's prices separately!

Question

What is "Beach Cocktail Attire"?

Answer

The following is a link to a lookbook that will clarify better than we will. Copy and paste into a new window if clicking does not work! https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1d_R-lDhyXQLG0F-SnXcp3r3ziZs1tpi2e3kp8VuwTm8/edit?usp=sharing

Question

Why is your Wedding Website 5ever instead of 4ever?

Answer

It is our inside joke that 5 is greater than 4, so five-ever must be longer than forever!
