We met at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, on the second floor of Kerr Hall outside of lecture. Ricky was a fourth year pharmacy school student coming into campus for a student presentation and Jiwon was a second year pharmacy school student completing a group case study for class. Ricky asked Jiwon to coffee shortly after!!

Ricky set up a romantic candles and fairy lights proposal at the home of one of Jiwon's best friends. With a little help from friends, while Jiwon was kept distracted for a few hours, Ricky created a magical scene filled with Jiwon's favorite things for the proposal. With the main theme of Howl's Moving Castle (Jiwon's favorite movie) playing in the background, Ricky asked Jiwon for her hand in marriage!
