FAQs

Question

Do I have to be vaccinated?

Answer

If you are coming from the USA, yes, you must be vaccinated or quarantine for ten days to enter Canada.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as possible! Getting an accurate guest count helps us plan better for the rehearsal dinner and wedding day.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are! We are registered through Zola.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to our start time. We will begin promptly at 5:30 pm.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unless noted on your invitation, we ask that you do not bring a plus one.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate this big day with our family and that does include even the youngest members.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is not. One of the reasons we chose to have our ceremony at Tunnel Mountain and accommodations and reception at Buffalo Mountain Lodge is because they are right across from each other. When the time comes, we will make our way over to the ceremony space together. Once the ceremony has concluded, guests are welcome to make their way back over to Buffalo Mountain Lodge for a cocktail hour, while the wedding party takes photos.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We would love it if you could attend our rehearsal dinner on Saturday, July 9th at High Rollers in Banff, Alberta, Canada. More information to come.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We recommend wearing comfortable shoes that will allow you to walk in the grass, gravel, and around the property. We're not exactly sure what to expect weather-wise. Ricky's Canadian relatives let us know that the temperature during the day could range between 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit, with nights potentially being 10-15 degrees cooler. However, for those traveling, you should be prepared for weather worse than that - we will be in the mountains after all. That all being said, our dress code is garden attire, but men will not be required to wear blazers. Ladies can wear a short/long dress or a skirt and top. No jeans, shorts, or flip-flops during the ceremony, please.
