Travel Info

The Wedding Website of Lainey Wood and Rick Schmitz
Travel information for getting to and around Luxembourg! We will add more hotel information as we get closer to next summer.

Flight

Findel Airport (LUX)

Flying into LUX is definitely the easiest option. There are easy and free public transportation connections to the city center.

Flight

Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG)

Unfortunately there will be no direct trains running between Paris and Luxembourg starting July 15th 2025, but you can take the TGV to Metz and then a bus from Metz to Luxembourg.

Flight

Brussels Zaventem (BRU)

You can take a train from BRU to Brussels Nord and from there you can take another train to Luxembourg. The tickets are cheap and flexible, but the journey takes a bit more than 3 hours in total.

Flight

Frankfurt Airport (FRA)

We really only recommend this option if you will rent a car. The train & bus connections between Frankfurt and Luxembourg are complicated.

Travel Note

Public Transport

All public transportation in Luxembourg is free! So we highly recommend taking the train, bus, or tram while exploring the country.

Hotel

Hotel Novotel Luxembourg Kirchberg

6 Rue du Fort Niedergruenewald, Luxembourg, Luxembourg 2226, Luxembourg

Our block of rooms has been booked out, but there are still rooms available at the hotel if you'd like to book one directly. This is where the shuttle to Larochette will run from! It's also very well connected to Luxembourg City by tram, bus, bike, and foot.

For all the days along the way
