Louis Armstrong Airport (MSY) is the main airport for New Orleans and it's 15 miles from the Royal Sonesta. It is serviced by all major airlines, including Delta, American, United, JetBlue, Southwest, Alaska, Spirit, Allegiant and Frontier. We recommend using a price comparison site like Kayak to find the best prices, but please note that discount carriers like Southwest require you to search direct on their own sites.

Rental Car

Uber/Lyft

Parking is hard to come by in the French Quarter, so we discourage use of rental cars. The best way to get to the French Quarter from the airport is by Uber or Lyft, which runs about $35 each way and will drop you off right at the hotel.
