Wedding Party

Andrea Cocilova

Matron of Honor

If you know me, you know Dre. Dre and I met in 9th grade AP Global Studies, and somehow fate knew that what started as a random high school classmate turned into a lifelong friendship, and family. I can't imagine feeling closer to someone. She knows the fun, and the ugly and what the inside of my brain looks like. She knows the why and the how and what makes me tick, and what makes me mad, sad, excited, etc. After our fateful meeting in 9th grade, we stuck together through everything—growing up, big life moments, questionable decisions, and a lot of laughing until we cry or crying until we laughed. Dre is the friend who always tells me like it is, shows up no matter what, and makes every situation more fun, for me. She’s been my built-in hype girl, voice of reason (when needed--which is often), and partner in crime for over 25 years. She is the embodiment of a best friend, but that doesn't seem important enough. She is my family, which everyone says but we're different. She will always be regarded as the good daughter to my parents, and they were right. (And more importantly she gave me Yvonnie & Gabi, my true soul mates!) We've talked about this day probably 10,000 times before and I truly can’t imagine it—or honestly my life—without her by my side. There is no me without her. Everyone should be lucky enough to have a Dre in their lives--but get your own!

Heather Cocilova

Matron of Honor

Heather and I met when I was in 10th grade and she was in 9th, thanks to our mutual friend Amanda Campe, (another bridesmaid!), and I’m so glad she brought us together. Since then, Heather and I became close right away, and have shared too many fun memories, all the good laughs, an innumerable amount of phone calls, her wedding, her babies, TOM!, telling each other "you're right!" , and discussing every television show that has aired since the late 90's, including an entire rewatch of original 90210 on the floor of her living room over microwave nachos after school everyday for a year. Her family has become my family--they're good ones and I wouldn't have them without her. She’s the kind of friend who is thinking what I'm thinking in any social situation and can share that with a look, and most importantly joined me in being one of two scaredy cats in any given situation while the rest of our friends made us do something we weren't sure of. I’m so grateful for all the laughs and memories we’ve shared over the years, and I couldn’t imagine celebrating this day without her.

Kristine Borrelli

Bridesmaid

Kristine is the kind of friend who makes every moment more entertaining. We met in high school and have been friends ever since. When we were 21, we even lived together—something that could either ruin a friendship or make it stronger, and thankfully for us it did the latter. Even though she moved away over 20 years ago, we’ve always stayed close and somehow our friendship has only grown stronger over time. Whether we’re catching up, laughing about something ridiculous, or just spending time together, it’s always guaranteed to be a good time. Kristine is one of those friends who can instantly regulate my nervous system but will also lovingly tell me when it’s time to “get it together.” I’m so grateful for our friendship and all the memories we’ve made together over the years, and I couldn’t imagine celebrating this day without her standing by my side. #413Pennels4L

Amanda Campe

Bridesmaid

Amanda and I met when I was in 10th grade, and she’s been such an important part of my life ever since. She’s the kind of friend who always shows up and will always keep things fun. Amanda has a way of making even the most mundane moments feel fun, and she’s also the person who somehow manages to say exactly what I’m thinking before I can get it out. She makes my face hurt from laughing so hard at something anyone else wouldn't understand and the person responsible for thinking every idea of mine is a great one, and will be right next to me while we do it. So here we are at my last great idea, and she'll be right next to me as usual. I’m so grateful for all the memories we’ve made together and for the many more laughs still to come. Having Amanda by my side on this day means so much to me-hope nothing weird happens!

Blaire Davis

Bridesmaid

Blaire and I have known each other literally our entire lives—our moms were best friends, so we’ve been together since we were babies. Because of that, Blaire has never just been a friend; she’s my family. Our family is something that I'm most thankful and proud of. Blaire, was meant for me like our mothers were meant for each other. Every holiday, family trip, and major milestone growing up was celebrated together, and so many of my favorite memories include her. I don’t have a sister, but Blaire is the closest thing I could ever have to one. She is, to this day, the funniest person I have ever met, and the only person I want to sit at the kids table with into our 80's. I’m so grateful to have grown up side by side, to have morphed into one big family, and that we figured out what to do with our hair eventually. I'm grateful everyday for our mothers and the fact that they sure knew what they were doing. We had the best examples of how to be good, funny, caring, smart women. I'm the luckiest to have her standing next to me on this special day.

Amanda Fiege

Bridesmaid

Amanda and I met in high school through Heather, and I’m so glad our paths crossed. She’s the kind of friend who brings such a warm, easygoing energy wherever she goes, and spending time with her is always guaranteed to be fun. Over the years we’ve shared so many laughs, about 10,000, hours-long phone conversations and memorable moments together. Amanda is thoughtful, supportive, and the kind of friend who always makes you feel lucky to know her. If you had a chance to hang out with Amanda, you've heard about her nephews, her cat, the dip, & you definitely remember it, because the fun loving human being she is, won't leave your memory! I’m so grateful for our friendship and so happy to have her standing by my side on such an important day.

Rena Tomaselli

Bridesmaid

Rena and I met when we were in middle school because my father and her mother worked together and we were both planning on going to Aquinas after 8th grade. Well she did, and I didn't but fate brought us together. We were 18 and living in the same dorm, and from the very beginning of us meeting she quickly became one of my favorite people, and almost instantly felt like family. She is one of the most loving people I know and somehow also one of the funniest—without even trying. The only downside to our friendship is that we can't be trusted to sit remotely near each other during serious situations due to our inappropriately timed laughing fits. Don't possibly ask us to make a phone call or order at a restaurant in front of each other because we won't be able to. I can't tell you how many times one of us has braced ourselves before going into something something serious and said to each other "don't look at me". Rena has brought so much joy, laughter, warmth, and love into my life over the years, and I’m so grateful our dorm days turned into a lifelong friendship. Not to be repetitive but I would be remiss not to mention the impact of Rena's family in my life as well. If you know you know. (Also everyone knows because almost everyone in this wedding party in related to them!) They are the best of the best! Rena truly is the most wonderful person--just don't offer to get ready with her! I couldn’t imagine celebrating this day without her making me laugh at the wrong times!

The younger brother I always wanted. Taught him everything he knows. It has been an honor to watch you grow into the man you have become. From all the laughs we've shared to the many more ahead, Im honored to call you my brother, my friend, my best man. Go Bills.

Eddie Ciminelli

You've helped mold me into the man I am today and I look forward to all of the adventures ahead. Watching you become a husband and a father has been such a pleasure and you've laid the ground work for the husband I hope to be. Honored to have you as my Best Man.

Nick Ientilucci

Groomsman

Youll always be my 1st pick in whatever the contest may be. Carried me on your back more times than I can count whether it was a double bullseye, a clutch putt, or a Euchre loner. Theres no one else I'd want as a teammate in this game of life and I look forward to all of our future wins.

Dave Kemp

Groomsman

Even though we met a little later in life, I feel like I've known you forever. You're someone who loves love and always puts others needs ahead of your own. I admire that about you. From late nights spraying paint to early morning talks, I am lucky to call you a friend.

Brendan Kyle

From kindergarten to my wedding day, there hasnt been a milestone you weren't by my side for. It is rare to have a relationship that lasts a lifetime and I am glad you've stuck around. Looking forward to everything ahead and forever grateful for all that we've been through.

Thomas Marcucci

Groomsman

So many memories, a lot that we cant' talk about here. I wouldn't trade them for anything. You've picked up the phone at every hour of the day and I know you always will. From late night card games to spontaneous road trips you've always been a constant in my life and I am lucky for that. Also a big thank you for making Katy's dream ring come to life, proud to call you a friend.

Dave Wright

Groomsman

You've always been in my corner and someone who shows up first and asks questions later. I admire your loyalty and the love you give. From Aquinas to Niagara to here your consistency is something I am forever thankful for.

Sam Petix

Officiant

Katy met Sam in 1995 in 6th grade at Mother Of Sorrows. He asked her why she was wearing a Michigan starter jacket in the bus line and they never lost touch after that. Sam & Katy have stayed in each other's lives consistently before Sean, and during Sean. Sean & Sam met at Aquinas and have been close friends since. Sam is the kind of friend who will give thoughtful advice, has the biggest heart, and there's nothing he doesn't know. Sam has be an important part of Katy & Sean's lives together and separately and there's no one they'd rather have to officiate their wedding ceremony than someone who has known both of them for so long. Go Blue!
