FAQs

Question

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

Absolutely not. While we love your children, we think you could use a break and couldn't run the risk of one of them being taken out by one of Sean's classic (& inevitable) dance floor headstands. But we will send you home with a piece of cake for them as a consolation.

Question

What does black tie mean?

Answer

It's New Year's Eve-- so we're excited to celebrate in black tie attire, (think tuxedos & gowns--fancy!) Although selfishly just for the amazing pictures we'll have of everyone dressed up! If you've ever thought "When will I ever wear this?", this is your moment!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6PM. We recommend arriving 20-30 minutes in advance to grab a welcome drink & get the prime spot that you deserve!

Question

Will we be celebrating the New Year together?

Answer

DUH! The point of doing an NYE wedding is to start the new year off with all of our loved ones with a toast! Though if you can't make it until midnight we'll take that as a compliment to our wedding planning skills! Cheers!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on the invitation. HOWEVER, please feel free to bring your flavor of the week to the post wedding celebration the next day!

Question

Will There Be A "Morning After" Extravaganza?

Answer

Of course! The best part of a wedding is the next day, sharing stories, showing pictures, and keeping the party going. We invite anyone who is up for it, or who needs to soak up the night before to join us for our post party at Parlay's Inn 248-250 Monroe Ave, Rochester, NY 14607 at 12PM on 1/1/2027 for food, drinks, and all the bowl games! Come in pajamas, come in sweats, come in your outfit from the night before! Think pizza logs, cheeseburgers, hair of the dog, and all of the laughter and love you need to nurse your hangover! All are welcome, and we truly believe in, the more the merrier! The best part? Our "morning after" is Friday and it's New Year's Day, so you have a full weekend of recovery ahead of you after that. Just don't forget to charge your phone, because we're going to want to see your pictures from the big day!
