What about COVID? Masks? Social distancing?

Answer

This is a big concern for many guests. We have so much love for everyone attending our wedding and therefore want to be sure we are keeping you safe. We also understand everyone has their own opinion about it. Therefore, we are requesting, not requiring, that you wear a mask upon entering the building until you reach your seat. There will be masks available to those who do not have one. Please be respectful of other guests' wishes if they want to keep their distance. There will be tables that are designated for those who wish to sit further away from the crowd as well. The bride and groom will not turn away your warm, congratulatory hugs, but they ask that you do wear a mask when approaching them to prevent potential spread and illness. Above all, we are excited to have you all there to celebrate with us! However, if you feel unwell, we ask that you please celebrate with us from home.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony/post on social media?

Answer

NO! There will be an unplugged ceremony, meaning phones and cameras should be turned off. NO PHOTOS during the ceremony. The bride and groom wish to keep the event private. Please do not post any photos taken of them during the reception on social media either. Feel free to share photos with them privately though.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The Ceremony is scheduled to start at 2:30. Please arrive early to allow time to find a seat, no later than 2:20.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If they were on the invitation, yes! If not, we are sorry but please find other arrangements for them as we will have predetermined seating.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation specified that you are welcome to bring a guest, then yes! If not, and unless otherwise informed by the bride, groom, or their family, please do not bring a date as we will have predetermined seating arrangements.

What happens between the ceremony and reception?

There will be appetizers for guests while the bride and groom take some family photos.

What's for Dinner?

Answer

Catered by Cedar Hill Catering, there will be chicken, beef, potatoes, green beans, salad, and rolls. Beverages available will include tea, lemonade, water, or coke products. There is no alcohol permitted on the premises.
