Best Man
our "matchmaker" Herveen is the reason why Don and Nicole first started talking. He knew that Don liked Nicole and did everything he can to try to get them to talk with each other. He helped Don through all of his questions about Nicole and what are some of the things that she is looking for in a perfect mate. Don is thankful to God for Herveen in his life being one of his accountability partners and brother in Christ. Their friendship had grown over the year they have known each other and one Don cherishes. It's only natural that he is the best man because of the way God used him to get Don and Nicole to be partners.
Irene Valverde
Maid of Honor
her "sister" Irene is Nicole’s older sister, “Ate Irene.” Their friendship started from food adventures, sleepovers (Nicole even had her own designated spot in Irene’s closet), and accountability sessions on Skype in 2010. The two share a love for K-dramas, crafting, and Jesus. Currently, Irene is a 4th grade teacher at San Jose Charter Academy and happily married to the handsome groomsman Adrian. These two girls have gone through many seasons of life together, as they prayed for one another and pointed each other to glorifying Christ. Irene is extremely elated to experience another momentous season with Nicole as she becomes Mrs. Gut Omen. Irene is also looking forward to settling together in Catan, continuing our winning streak at escape rooms, and fellowship with the future Gut Omens.
James Blythe

the "J-Beast" Don and James have been best friends since 2004, their sophomore year in HS, when they first were friends on the Golf team. They have developed a strong friendship through golf but and even bigger one through bowling. James has been there in Don's life through all of the tough and good times. They have never lost contact with each other and always find a way to see each other. Don wouldn't want it any other way than to have one of his best friends stand by his side at his wedding
Giselle Fabrig

her "twin" Giselle aka Nicole’s “Twinny” instantly clicked with Nicole ever since they met at church in PCC (11 years ago...can you believe that!!? ) & became the closest of friends & accountability partners. She is a soon to be Nurse, loves boba & Korean BBQ just like our Bride-To-Be. Giselle and Nicole both enjoy the same things like being bougie, getting our nails did/hurr did, going out to LA to take “extra OA photoshoots”, foodventures/bobaventures, but most of all encouraging each other in every season of our lives & uplifting one another towards following Christ.

his "co-engineer" Adrian and Don's brotherhood has grown exponentially throughout the year. They first got to know each other through a double date with their significant others. Little did they know that they had so much in common that their friendship had grown into a brotherhood that Don couldn't be without. From the game nights to escape rooms to Disney trips to being accountability partners to Star Wars to discussing engineering things, Don has cherished these moments and is blessed to have Adrian stand by his side as his groomsman
April Chavez

the "lovely one" April will always remember Nicole's love for the color purple from seeing her with her laptop at church. She is currently a full-time student at CSULB, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have time to laugh, and hang out with Nicole and Don. She loves trying new foods, or sharing favorite foods at their Disney hangouts. Also, playing the fate token with their new found love of board games while Disneyland is closed. She is so excited for Nicole and Don to get married! When she's not busy, she likes hanging out with her husband and watching Netflix, or playing video games...
Marvin Grunwald

"DJ BOBO" Marvin is Don's cousin and best friends who he enjoys hanging out with. Throughout the years since childhood, their brotherhood is something Don appreciates the most. As a child, Don would ask Marvin's mom, "When is Marvin coming to visit California?" because Marvin grew up and lived in Germany. But when Marvin had permanently moved to California, they started hanging out a lot more. Marvin has been through many milestones in Don's life and even has so many trips together. Even to today, Don is so thankful to God for having Marvin in his life. Don insisted that Marvin was going to be his groomsman. Burgerz for the boys.

her "bestie" Martha lives in Los Ángeles and works in medical research for the VA West Medical Center. Richelle was her first friend in Beaumont and has been good friends with her since high school. Martha loves movies, the outdoors, and nights out dancing with her best friend, Richelle Nicole!
Ryan Sargent

"Daddy G" Ryan is another one of Don's best friends since they were younger. Don and Ryan first got to know each other because of high school band when Ryan was a trumpet player and Don was a tuba player. Then they saw each other at the PC cafe they frequented and then later on in bowling leagues. Don then knew that he couldn't get rid of this guy so they become the best of friends. Don is so thankful for Ryan being in his life and wouldn't have it any other way than to have him stand by his side as one of his groomsmen.
Nikita Lau

her "boo" Nikita met Richelle when she transferred to Beaumont High School during her junior year. They instantly clicked and she knew they friendship would last a lifetime. Nikita currently works in human resources and teaches part time as a professor. Nikita loves sports, dancing, music and food. She is truly blessed to be Richelle's boo and excited to welcome Don to the family. Can't wait to celebrate!

"Mr. Side Sip" Emry is one of Don's brothers in Christ that helped him grow spiritually at church. They first met each other at church and became close friends. Their friendship and brotherhood is one that Don appreciates and is thankful for. So here's a side sip dedicated to his brother of the year and is blessed to have him stand by his side in his marriage to Nicole.

her "baby sister" The baby of the bridesmaid bunch, Gabbie has known Nicole as long as she has known herself! Literally. Nicole has more than likely changed her diapers. But now that she's all "grown up", she has wandered off across the country to Philly to earn her BSN/MSN. Ask her to dance with you if you're bored (though she only knows swing, beware). Or if you want her to stay quiet (as if) you can knit or crochet with her. Gabbie is trembling in her trousers with excitement at the new journey of life for her Ate Nicole and Kuya Don! Even when they're officially married, she plans on third-wheeling on dates. "Yayayayayay!"

the "Ninja" Don and Daryll's brotherhood first began in Discovery class at church. They slowly got to know each other but their friendship and brotherhood really didn't develop until they started going on double dates with their significant others. They never realized how many things they had in common especially with them being huge Anime fans. Don enjoys all the times they hang out and spend together and was even excited to show each other their plans for getting engaged to their significant others. Don is thankful to God for their friendship and is honored to have Daryll stand by his side as one of his Groomsmen.

the "engaged TWIN" Theresa works as an Enrollment Counselor. Nicole is Theresa's sister in Christ ♡ whom she first met at church in the beginning of 2018 and Nicole became her accountability partner. They got engaged in the same year (two months apart to be exact)! Theresa enjoys going on double dates to Disneyland/DCA with Nicole & Don.
Ian Markstrum

the "kid" Ian is one of Don's best friends and friendship that Don cherishes. They met each other through bowling league and started the story of the 2,3,4,5,6,8,9,10,11,12 that first sweeps in Vegas. They soon started hanging out a lot more and even took many trips and vacations. They ended up being teammates and have been best friends ever since. Don is thankful for Ian and the brotherhood they have developed over the years. Don is honored to have Ian stand by his side as one of his groomsmen.
Camille Ocampo

her "Seoul sister" Camille met Richelle in Fall 2014 while taking her Calculus class. Little did she know, that late night class will give birth to a wonderful sister friendship that it's right now. She is currently working in the research field, a dog mom, and a travel enthusiast. She shares a love for Korean culture, most especially BTS, with the bride (among others) and even went to their first BTS concert last year. This is also where Camille "officially" met the groom, Don. Camille is very excited for this new chapter in Richelle and Don's life.
