We're married, let's celebrate!

Our story began on January 11, 2022 when we connected on a dating app. Thank goodness for Richard’s days snowboarding at Snowbowl, or we may never have been within “range” of each other! Once our mutual friend (and Richard’s coworker) convinced Megan from the bottom of the Grand Canyon that Richard was truly the sincere person he seemed on the interwebz, we gravitated toward each other immediately. We realized early on that this was not like relationships we’d experienced before. The openness and familiarity in our conversations made a few weeks of knowing one another feel like years. Conversations quickly progressed from fun goofiness to more in-depth discussions about our lives, both past and future. We learned about each other while exploring Flagstaff, hitting the slopes, sleeping under the stars, roadtrips with friends, and learning each other’s hobbies and interests. After being the plus 1 at each other’s close friend's/family weddings, the magnetism between us grew. Meeting family and friends happened quickly, and it cemented even further how well our lives meshed together. Our relationship grew deeply and steadily and sprung to discussions about goals and dreams for the future. Rich found his way to Megan’s heart with his sourdough bread, and Megan through all her quirks that he finds adorable. We knew we’d found someone rare, and it was game over once Koda also fell snoot-over-paws for Richard. For 5 years we were out almost every Wednesday night, two-stepping and bowling in the buildings directly next to one another. We spent so many years searching while being so close, and are overjoyed that we found our way to each other eventually. Every day is a new adventure and another step forward in our life together. Life has never felt as full or exciting as it does now.
