National Aquarium and Baltimore Waterfront
Baltimore is less than 20 minutes away from the hotel. It has one of the best aquariums in the country and a beautiful waterfront with plenty of places to eat. Kim and Rich love getting Bubba Gump Shrimp and walking around the harbor.
Lake Kittamaqundi
The No. 1 rated tourist attraction in Columbia, Maryland. Lake Kittamaqundi is the ideal place to catch the beautiful fall scenery in Maryland. If you're feeling adventurous there is an island in the middle of the lake that you can rent a boat and visit to truly immerse yourself in nature.
Hysteria Brewing Company
As you know Rich is obsessed with sour beer and Hysteria Brewing Company is loaded with them...For those without such an amazing pallet - like Rich's - they have other beers as well. It is extremely close to the hotel and a must-stop for any beer lover.
Capitol Hill
About an hour away, you can spend your Sunday enjoying our nation's capital. There is plenty to do in D.C., however, we're pretty obsessed with the Segway Tours.
Flying Dog Brewery
You don't have to be too weird to live or too rare to die to enjoy some wacky and wild beers at Flying Dog Brewery. Just remember one fedora per crew.
College Park
The University of Maryland's beautiful College Park campus is just a half hour away. Take a nice fall walk around the area. For all our Rutgers alumni, feel free to give that Terrapine statue a nice toilet paper tee-pee or, at the very least, let the Terps know that RU is taking home the W in a few weeks on Oct. 29.
