Heckscher Park
Heckscher Park is a local park and national historic district in Huntington. This is one of our favorite places to go running anytime of the year. The scenery is great and it's right in the heart of Huntington. There is a playground, museum, and even an ice cream truck. Not far from the church, Heckscher makes for a picture perfect stop on the way to the reception!
Walt Whitman Shops
Become part of the Huntingtonian culture and enjoy some shopping while you're in the area. 'Walt Whitman Shops is a shopping mall located in South Huntington, New York. The mall's main anchors include Bloomingdale's, Lord & Taylor, Macy's and Saks Fifth Avenue. The mall is owned and managed by Simon Property Group, one of the largest developers of shopping malls in the US."
