Through a friend, we were introduced and on a whim, we took a chance. We knew from our first date that this was something special. After several more dates and many late night talks, Ricky made things "official" at the Rockefeller Christmas tree in NYC and from that moment on we started to build a life together.

As a true romantic, this part of the story comes as no surprise. We were suppose to see a movie and little did I know, Ricky rented out the theatre for us so that we could play an entire video montage created by himself for not only us, but both of our families to watch. He told our story so beautifully, illustrated with pictures of memories and songs we both love. When the video ended, he pulled me into the aisle, got on one knee, and pulled out the most beautiful ring that I could have ever imagined, and asked me to marry him... while simultaneously crying and smiling, I of course said "YES!".
