Ian’s Pizza, 319 N. Frances Street and 100 State Street Try the macaroni and cheese pizza before you criticize it. 3. The Old Fashioned, 23 N. Pinckney Street Legendary home of Wisconsin cuisine and 40 Wisconsin brewed beers on tap. You can even still order Old Milwaukee here. 4. Graze, 1 S. Pinckney Street Very good gastro pub run by the same people who own L'Étoile, the original haute French cuisine in Madison. 5. Tipsy Cow, 102 King Street Fun bar with great grilled cheese and tomato soup, cheese curds, and burgers on the far side of the Capitol. 6. Pizza Brutta, 1805 Monroe Street Wood fired pizza near Camp Randall Stadium in the popular Monroe Street shopping district. 7. Nitty Gritty, 223 N. Frances Street Madison’s birthday bar where you can drink free on your birthday. Popular burgers and Chicago Style hot dogs.

Mifflin Street Upscale Italian restaurant that is centrally located and universally popular. 3. The Cooper’s Tavern, 20 W. Mifflin Street Great Gastropub on Capitol Square. Tomato soup, grilled cheese, and frites, what more could anyone ask for. 4. Sardine’s, 617 Williamson Street Super cool newer French restaurant on Lake Monona. 5. Harvey House, 644 W. Washington Received glowing reviews from the N.Y. Times. 6. Ahan, 744 Williamson Street Fantastic Southeast Asian restaurant, fun atmosphere, amazing house cocktails and beer selection. 7. University of Wisconsin Babcock Dairy Store, 1605 Linden Drive and inside Memorial Union The Linden Drive location is part of UW’s world renowned Ag School where Vitamins A and B were discovered and Vitamin D was enriched. All of the ice cream is made on site and is a must. The Memorial Union location is more convenient but not nearly as charming. This ice cream will also be served at the wedding. 2. Chocolate Shoppe, 468 State Street Great milkshakes and ice cream on State Street.

This is a place where you can even throw a close family member into the lake. 2. About half way between the Hampton Inn and The Graduate. 6. Monday’s, 523 State Street Just cold beer and mixed drinks. Nothing has changed here since the 1980s. 7.
