Wedding Party

Brittany Javins

Matron of Honor

Brittany and Anne Marie met at the age of twelve when they were apprentices with The Charleston Ballet. They quickly became best friends and eventually went to the same high school. They have continued this friendship, and Brittany and her husband, Mark are some of Anne Marie's biggest supporters in her theatre career having traveled all over to see her perform.

Melissa Francis

Matron of Honor

Melissa and Anne Marie met in the seventh grade when their lockers were next to each other. They realized they had a lot in common and became best friends. They eventually went to the same high school and were even placed in dorms next to each other at WVU. Their friendship has continued to grow and Anne Marie has adopted Melissa's love of crafting and Melissa adopted Anne Marie's love of cats and kayaking.

Adrienne Connaghan

Bridesmaid

Adrienne and Anne Marie met in 2010 at Flat Rock Playhouse where they were apprentices and assigned as roommates. They hit it off right away and learned that they lived well together. They took that knowledge to NYC where they lived together from 2012-2020. I think that qualifies as common law married in the state of NY. During that time, Adrienne graciously took in Richard as a third roommate and will forever be a part of our family.

Ashley Edmonds

Bridesmaid

Ashley and Anne Marie met just before starting seventh grade at band camp. Anne Marie gravitated towards Ashley because she was so fun to be around and brought out Anne Marie's truest self. Their friendship continued to grow throughout high school and even at WVU where their dorm rooms shared a wall as Ash was roommates with Matron of Honor, Melissa and Anne Marie lived with their friend, Bethany. Anne Marie can always count on Ash for a good time and making it feel like no time has passed at all.

Blaine Reed

Bridesman

Blaine and Anne Marie met in the seventh grade when he came to one of her ballet performances because he was dating Matron of Honor, Brittany. Their friendship grew when they eventually went to high school together and then on to WVU. During their senior year of college, Anne Marie moved in with Blaine and his roommate, Kristi. Together the three of them had one of the best years of their lives and anytime they're together, it's a party.

Mary Anna Ball

Bridesmaid

Mary Anna and Anne Marie met when Anne Marie was 12 and Mary Anna was born. They are first cousins, and Anne Marie immediately fell in love. She was Anne Marie's first younger cousin and became like a sibling she never had. Mary Anna eventually adopted Anne Marie's love of ballet, and they even got to perform together with the Charleston Ballet several times. She loves seeing the woman she has become and can't wait to see where the future will take her.

Robert Lafleur

Best Man

Robert first met Richard, well, when he was born and began living in his house. It didn’t take long for the then seven year old Robert to become an amazing big brother. He has always been Richard’s hero, and has grown from an amazing big brother and son, to an incredible father as well. Richard is thrilled to always have him by his side.

Lee Mason

Officiant

Lee and Richard met in college at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC in 2008. Their friendship formed quickly, and led to them living together for nearly three years, and laughing so hard they both nearly died on multiple occasions. Anne Marie and Richard are beyond grateful for Lee’s friendship, and are honored to have his Holiness, the man of the cloth, Father Mason with them on their big day!

Joe Boover

Groomsman

Joe and Richard were college roommates at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, in NYC. They not only shared the same bunk bed, but began a wonderful friendship that has grown through the years and seen them co-star together in multiple professional shows. Richard is so grateful for Joe’s continuous support, love, creativity, and laughter.

Michael Sheehan

Groomsman

Michael and Richard met in the summer of 2011, as roommates at the Weathervane Rep Theatre in New Hampshire. It was Richard’s first professional theatre contract, and began one of his Longest friendships. Michael has been there every step of the way for Richard since, and Richard is thrilled to have Michael with him on his wedding day!

Troy Bruchwalski

Groomsman

Troy and Richard met on the national tour of Monty Python’s “Spamalot”. Where Troy not only played the dashing sir Galahad, but Prince Herbert’s (Richard’s) father as well. Richard is so grateful for Troy’s friendship. They have shared countless laughs, memories, important moments, and life lessons together. Richard has watched Troy become an amazing father and husband, and is so proud of what Troy has accomplished. Bear cave for life!

Blake Burgess

Groomsman

Blake and Richard also met on the national tour of Monty Python’s “Spamalot”. They started a friendship that has only grown over the years, especially when Blake relocated to NYC. Touring together, beach trips together, numerous trips to bars and shows together are only a few of the highlights of their friendship. Also, Blake literally carried Richard for a large part of his performance in “Spamalot”. Bear cave for life!
