This is one of our favorite hikes that is very close by. Easy hike with great views, a small river, and ruins of a dam from the early 1900s.

Castlewood Canyon State Park

Easy walking trail or drive-through with a great view of the front range mountain peaks. There is also a farm of bison.

Daniels Park trail

Ubergrippen Indoor Climbing Crag

Easy hike up the iconic Castle Rock with good views of the surrounding region.
