Cliff Walk
If you're looking for a fun outdoorsy activity, we recommend taking a hike along the Cliff Walk and checking out some of the Newport mansions.
Thames Street
This is quintessential Newport - we love taking a stroll along Thames and popping in and out of shops with a Del's lemonade or Kaffeology coffee in hand.
Bowen's Wharf
Bowen's Wharf is full of shops & restaurants to explore, plus sailing charters, live music bars, and plenty of people watching. We love The Landing for a late-night spot, or Clarke Cooke House for (at least) a dozen oysters and a dirty martini if you're feeling fancy (we are usually feeling fancy).
Fort Adams State Park
The site of the Newport Jazz & Folk Fests, and just a generally cool historical spot to visit. We love taking a loop on the Jamestown-Newport ferry, which stops by here.
International Tennis Hall of Fame
Home to the legends of tennis. A great place to visit whether you are an avid tennis fan or not!
Newport Car Museum
A must for our car buffs - they have a great collection of classic & exotic cars and exhibits focusing on eight decades of modern industrial automotive design.
Newport Vineyards
Newport Vineyards offers a fun tour & (generous, Haley can confirm) tasting, as well as an on-site restaurant and brewery.
Newport Craft Brewing & Distilling Co.
This brewery has up to 100 different varieties of unique craft brews, as well as gin, vodka, rum, & whiskey - all distilled, aged, and bottled on-site! There are usually food trucks, lawn games, dogs...all the typical brewery things.
Scooter World
This is a one-stop shop for those seeking outdoor entertainment, offering rentals for scooters, jet skis, and bikes. The Ocean Loop is a particularly scenic tour that takes you right past some of the most beautiful Gilded Age mansions.
Wally's Wieners
Don't let the name fool you - upstairs from this spot is a sleek, cool speakeasy with an entire menu just for espresso martinis. A great late-night spot!
