We suggest formal attire - think dressy, but not tuxes & gowns (unless you want to, in which case do you). The ceremony and cocktail hour will be taking place on the lawn outdoors, so just keep that in mind when you're picking out footwear!
We have limited capacity at the venue, so invited guests are specified on your invitation. If you're unsure or lost track of your invitation, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors on the lawn, and the reception will be held in the Castle Hill Inn tent.
Castle Hill Inn has plenty of valet parking on site, and we will also be running shuttles to and from the venue from a couple of designated meeting points in Middletown and Newport. Check the "Travel" section of this site for shuttle timing & details!
While we love your kids, our wedding will be an adults-only event. We hope you can arrange for childcare to join us for the celebration!
We've provided a few recommended lodging options in the "Travel" section of our website. You're welcome to book with any of those or check out Airbnb, VRBO, etc. for other options. We definitely recommend booking early, though - we're not the only ones who love Newport this time of year and lodging books up fast! Please let us know where you're planning to stay so we can plan transportation pickups accordingly.
Totally up to you! Castle Hill Inn is about a 15-minute drive from the downtown area, where most restaurants/bars/shops are located. If walkability to restaurants & attractions is a must for you, we recommend looking around the Thames Street / Bowen's Wharf area. There is also ample lodging in nearby Middletown.
