Chateau du Fey sits in a forest at the top of a hill and has extensive grounds for relaxing and exploring. There will be plenty to keep you entertained and even if you are not staying onsite you are welcome to come hang out at the pool, play some lawn games and listen to Rich's spotify playlist There are also some great activities nearby that you may want to check-out if you have access to a rental car. We've included a few ideas below Note: Late July is the middle of the French summer holidays, so we highly recommend contacting (and even booking) anything that you are dead set on ahead of time. Wine tasting at Chablis Vineyards

Chablis is approximately 45 minute drive and there are many options to visit. This link will take you a vineyard recommended by locals at Chateau du Fey

Kayak or cycle along the Yonne river

The Yonne river is just a 25 minute walk (5 minute drive) down the hill. It also passes through Joigny. The activity center sits by a small man made beach on the banks of the river where you can rent bikes and kayaks

Golfing at Le Roncemay

A 30 minute drive away. 18 holes start at 64EUR. Excellent facilities and clubs available for rental

Hit the spa

La Côte Saint Jacques is a nice hotel just a few minutes away in Joigny. In addition to the spa it also has a Michelin starred restaurant
