Welcome Party

8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

If you are in town on Thursday, we would love to welcome you to Charleston! Join us for drinks from 8-10pm with a hosted bar (beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages available). Coastal classy attire- For men, think golf shorts, chinos, or slacks with a collared shirt. For women, think nice sundresses, dressy skirts, jumpsuits, etc. Limited street parking. Ride share highly recommended.

Ceremony and Reception

5:00 pm - 10:30 pm

The ceremony begins promptly at 5:00pm. Doors will open at 4:30pm. Hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served at cocktail hour, with a seated dinner and open bar during the reception. Elevated Cocktail Attire- We’d love to see our family and friends dress up with us in elevated cocktail attire! We suggest that men wear a suit or dress pants, shirt, and a tie. For women, we suggest a cocktail dress (any length from mini to floor length) or a dressy jumpsuit. No color or pattern is off limits, but if you prefer to avoid blending in with the bridal party, the ladies will be in hues of light pink, while the guys will be in darker shades of blue. Our wedding reception will end promptly at 10:30pm, but we plan to keep the party going at one of the nearby bars (Uptown Social) on King Street. Transportation back to the Courtyard Marriott Waterfront and downtown bars will be available for those who prefer not to walk or use a ride-sharing service.

Post-Wedding Fun!

We are excited to have Saturday to continue the celebrations and spend the weekend with our loved ones! Our plan is to be out and about in the Shem Creek area throughout Saturday afternoon, starting at Red's Ice House. We'd love for you to join if and when you can. Daytime attire- dress as classy or comfortable as you'd like! We will be outdoors, so cool/breathable clothing is best.
