Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You may RSVP for all wedding weekend events via our website! Please RSVP by July 8, 2024.

Question

Best way to travel to Erie?

Answer

Please refer to the Travel page of the website for travel and hotel options.

Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both take place at Shannon's parent's home in Manchester Heights at 6404 Fair Oaks Circle in Fairview, PA (about a 20-30 minute drive from the hotels). Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors.

Question

When should I arrive for the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We recommend guests arrive about 15-minutes early to get settled and be seated.

Question

Will there be transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

Yes, shuttles will be provided from the Courtyard Marriot to and from the wedding and welcome party. Anyone staying elsewhere (other hotels, Airbnb's) can come to the Courtyard to catch the shuttle or will be responsible for their own transportation.

Question

Are there Uber's in Erie?

Answer

Yes, there are Uber's in downtown Erie near the hotels, though not nearly as many as New York or other big cities. There are fewer near the wedding venue (and a bit unreliable out there) so if you do not take the shuttle be prepared for longer wait times.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Due to venue capacity we are having an adult-only ceremony and reception, so unfortunately we are unable to accommodate children. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

You may only bring a plus-one if it is noted on your invitation. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Cocktail. Think of the event as an elevated backyard wedding =) We'd love to see our family and friends feeling comfortable and fabulous - and of course bring your dancing shoes! The ceremony/reception will be on grass, so block heels are a good idea for the ladies. The bridesmaids will be in blue and white floral dresses.

Question

What's the weather like in Erie?

Answer

Labor Day weekend historically is beautiful summer weather in the 70's or 80's. That being said, the reception will be on the lakefront which can get windy and a little chilly at night so a shawl might be a good idea.

Question

Is there parking near the venue?

Answer

We will have limited parking for the ceremony and reception. If you plan to drive please carpool if possible.

Question

I am gluten free, vegan, vegetarian. Will there be food for me there?

Answer

Our main dinner entree is gluten free and we also have a fabulous vegetarian/vegan option! If you have an allergy, please note when sending in your RSVP so we can accommodate.

Question

When will the reception end?

Answer

Shuttles will take guests back to the hotels every half hour beginning at 10 PM. Shuttle schedules can be found on the "Schedule of Events" page of the website, and also in the hotel welcome bags. We plan to dance the night away and you're welcome to stay as long as the music is playing, drinks are flowing, and the shuttles are running!

Question

Should I bring my gift or mail it to you?

Answer

You are welcome to bring your gifts and cards to the reception or please ship them to: 28 Adamson St., Selden, NY 11784

For all the days along the way
