We're getting married!

In the heart of Sevilla, fate brought Rhonnie and Bryan to the same restaurant at the same time - strangers an ocean apart from where they came from, unknowingly about to meet the love of their lives. Bryan was in town for a wedding, and Rhonnie was traveling through Spain. They noticed each other the second Rhonnie walked into Duo Tapas, seated just feet apart, sneaking glances, but too shy to speak. After two hours of silent sparks (and not-so-subtle nudges from their friends), the conversation finally began...with a little help. When Bryan got up to go to the bathroom their friends broke the ice, unable to stand the awkward tension any longer, opening the door for Bryan and Rhonnie to see if the spark they were feeling was real. To anyone that truly knows Rhonnie, this next part won’t be surprising. When Bryan invited Rhonnie out for drinks after dinner, she replied, “I’m going to sleep.” Luckily, her friend had other plans and convinced her to go. When they got to La Juguetería Rhonnie didn’t want to get out of the Uber, realizing Bryan wasn’t just grabbing “a drink with friends,” but it was post dress-rehearsal drinks. After initial hesitation, Bryan convinced her that it was fine and they spent the night talking like they’d known each other forever. It was love at first sight, sealed by perfect timing, a little luck, a lot of courage, and a jar of sangria. Two years later, Bryan proposed to Rhonnie in Plaza de España, where they took their first picture together, and returned to La Juguetería for their engagement shoot. A full circle moment that was only possible because when Bryan walked into Duo Tapas he asked the waiter to split a table for four into two tables for two, having no idea that he just set the stage for his future wife to sit right next to him.
