Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us!

Jordan Miller

Maid of Honor

Jordan was my first friend I made at Gordon College and since then we had many different titles together, teammates, roommates, apartment mates, and best friends. My life would not be the same if I had not met Jordan, she has seen me at my worst and lifted me up and celebrated with me at my best. She is someone I have had the most fun with and our friendship has been full of some crazy adventures that I will never forget. I have never met and probably will never meet someone like Jordan, and I am most thankful for that. Jordan and Soph my maids of honor are my two best friends; they both have been a blessing to me through all of the highs and lows.

Ismael Rivera

Best Man

Ismael was one of the first people I met when I arrived at Gordon. I was wearing a classic Hawaiian shirt when I introduced myself to him and another friend while they were taking batting practice. Since, we've been teammates, roommates, apartment mates, and great friends. His passion for the Boston Celtics is like no other. I've never seen someone love and dislike a team like him. While in Church, he prefers 3 Worship songs max before his legs get tired. He is also an amazing basketball player, although I was able to beat him one on one a singular time with a game winning pullback mid-range jumper that ended with him ripping his shoe. I have since retired from that moment. If you ever need to a role model to look up to when it comes to brushing your teeth, Ismael is your guy. I've never seen anyone else brush their teeth for more than 1 minute, yet this man will brush for 5+ minutes every morning and every night. One of my favorite moments was on Senior Day where Ismael played the best baseball I've ever seen him play and I would argue was the reason we won our last game of the season. The love him and his family have had for me over the last few years is like no other. I am blessed have him as my Best Man.

Sophea Zaskoda

Maid of Honor

Soph is also one of my first friends at Gordon after I found out she was not only one of my teammates but also a fellow biology major, something about biology and lacrosse seem to go well together. My favorite memories with Soph were going from our 6am practices to our 8am biology classes together and getting Starbucks afterwards. Soph was and is always down for some unnecessary but fun trips. Jordan and Soph my maids of honor are my two best friends; they both have been a blessing to me through all of the highs and lows.

Eli C. Rhoda

Brother of the Bride & Groomsman

The second I started writing this for Eli tears are welling up in my eyes. There are not enough words to express how much I love my brother and how much growing up together and our relationship has shaped who I am. In high school often Eli was referred to as 'Becca's brother' but truly, being Eli's sister has been the greatest blessing of my life. I am so proud to have been able to see how he has grown and that he will be standing with David and I on our wedding day. Eli, aka Beast Mode, and I met after he traveled from New York to Massachusetts to see Becca play at one of her lacrosse games. He was and still is very funny and kind. His favorite song to play on the bass is Free Bird and he might even sing along if you ask. I am blessed to have him as a Groomsman.

Gretchen Stanley

Bridesmaid

Gretchen is my cousin who I was very close to growing up. Eli, Gretchen, and I were the only cousins that we didn't have a 10-year age gap with. I remember nightly trips to my grandparents' farm with my mom and Eli where we would help feed the animals and all play together. The friendship Gretchen and I had shaped who I am today and growing up with her was one of the best parts of my childhood.

Jason Leslie

Groomsman

Jason, aka gamer tag CTEpatient, and I met in 10th grade band class in High School. I played the bassoon, and he played the trombone. We have been great friends ever since. We have had countless memories such as beach trips, 4v4 basketball, watching Endgame and Clone Wars Season 7, Pubg Mobile, Paladins, eating burger sushi and many more. One of my favorite Jason memories was going to KFC for food and him buying a whole family meal for himself. Jason, along with his mother, father, and brother, have loved me very much. I am blessed to have him as a Groomsman.

Bella Gibson

Bridesmaid

Bella was originally friends with Jordan when we first met but her kindness and genuine nature made me want to be friends with her as well. I admire Bella for the incredible person that she is every day. A moment I will not forget was one after I had an unexpected surgery, and Bella was one of the first to see me and bring encouragement when I needed it. She has been a blessing to me in so many ways!

Caleb Stuart

Groomsman

Caleb and I met last school year when we became teammates at Gordon. Our friendship and bond grew when he joined my 6 AM baseball lifting group. We both share a love for the Gospel, anatomy, and all things regarding sports performance. It is inspiring to see his leadership abilities, his heart for others, and his work ethic. He was great teammate and is a wonderful friend. I am blessed to have him as a Groomsman.

Gabriela Roman Mendez

Bridesmaid

There's a bond between you and your teammates that is unmatched that I am thankful to call Gaby my best friend and teammate. She is one of the most hardworking people I know and has inspired me to be who I am today. Since graduating I am beyond thankful that we work down the road from each other and can meet for lunch during the week and enjoy a great conversation.

Ben Richardson

Groomsman

Ben, aka Ben R., and I both transferred into Gordon the same year. We met at a team baseball meeting and quickly became friends after that. We share many memories such as leading bible study, going to Church, praying together, living together, playing baseball, laughing and crying together, speaking Spanish, eating delicious food, and more. Ben is one of the biggest jokesters I know, probably top 20 funniest people I've ever met. His voice never raises in pitch when he's speaking in front of a group of people. He introduced me to Grecian Diner in Peabody where we order our favorite meal - The Cruiser 332. He took me to my first Red Sox game, as well as my second. Ben is and will always be a beloved friend of mine. I am blessed to have him as a Groomsman.

Kaina Melendez

Bridesmaid

Kaina is one of the most unique people I have ever met. You might think that our friendship grew slowly as David and I's relationship did, you would be wrong, the first time I met Kaina we became great friends and bonded quickly. I am thankful for her humor and blessed by her kind and caring nature, and even more so grateful she is one of my bridesmaids who will be standing next to me on this special day. Kaina and I met when she was born in 2006. She was barely born before the release of the original Cars, which is crazy to think about. If you ask her when the last time she had a cup of water, she will probably tell you she doesn't remember. She is the person with the highest screen time that I know, racking up 10+ hours a day. She has convinced me to buy her food more times than I can remember. She introduced me to anime and many other shows, one of which we have yet to finish. I am blessed that she will be one of Becca's bridesmaids.

Jack Birtwell

Groomsman

Jack, aka Birty, and I met last school year when we became teammates. Birty was one of 3 of my teammates that lifted with me from beginning to end of the fall semester at 6 AM. He was a freshman that year and I was very much impressed and inspired by his work ethic. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday we would lift for an hour and a half before going to Chemistry at 8AM. After lifting, I would almost always eat the same thing in the locker room: an egg and a blueberry and banana smoothie. Birty always asked me what I was eating, and I would always tell him that I was eating my usual egg and smoothie. We both love baseball, anatomy, and all sports performance. I also recently discovered that loves Interstellar, which is my one of my top 4 favorite movies. He is in my Top 10 funniest people I've met in my life. He is and will always be a wonderful friend. I am blessed to have him as a Groomsman.

My Something Blue!

Caroline Kelley, Meline Markarian, & Mariah Gohson

I met these ladies my first year at Gordon College and we were apartment mates my senior year! They were there at the beginning of David and I's relationship and love story and everything in between. I am beyond grateful for the friendship I have shared with them and all of the fun times we have had together. These lasting friendships continue to be a blessing to me and make the memories we share even sweeter. They will be representing the tradition of "something blue" for the bride by wearing blue at my wedding!
