Travel & Stay

We are so excited for you to welcome you to the Central Coast! Templeton is one of our favorite places and we can't wait to host you at Whale Rock Campground. Must you camp to enjoy the weekend with us? Of course not! While we encourage you to camp, there are plenty of other options to choose from if camping is not for you.

Travel Note

GETTING TO THE VENUE

The wedding weekend will take place at a private vineyard campsite. We are so lucky to be able to use this private property and we ask you treat it with the up most respect! You will enter on a dirt road off of Bethel Rd. at the bottom of a hill. Drive VERY SLOWLY for about a half mile down the dirt road, you'll pass a house and old barns and then you'll find us!

Travel Note

CAMPING!

If you choose to camp, here are some the details! There is plenty of room for everyone and all different types of camp set ups. However there are NO RV hookups. Please let us know in the RSVP section what kind of camping you plan to do. The campground has showers, running water and we will bring in a selection of Porta Potties. There are also drinking water spigots and a few power outlets! If you plan on camping but are flying into the SLO airport and need a ride out to the campground, please reach out and we will try and help you coordinate a ride! If you want to stay on the property but would prefer a "glamping" option, check out Outdoorsy for van and RV rentals. If camping, please limit the amount of in's and out's to keep dust kick-up to a minimum. PLEASE RESPECT THE PROPERTY AND LEAVE NO TRACE!

House Or Rental

Hotels and Airbnbs

If camping isn't for you, we get it and that's okay! There are plenty of hotel and Airbnb options in Templeton, Atascadero, and Paso Robles.

For all the days along the way
