7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
This event is casual, at one of our favorite Charlotte bars.
Please join us for a drink the night before our wedding! This bar is beverages only, so please plan accordingly - there are plenty of restaurant options in the immediate neighborhood. Guests will pay for their own bar tab. By the way, Wednesday nights are karaoke night at Petra's. If you have a karaoke fav, please dedicate it to us and we will cheer you on in your performance ;) Karaoke is in the front room/main bar, with an entrance on Commonwealth Avenue. We will be gathering in the back bar - please enter through the front door and proceed to the back bar area to find us!
5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Our wedding ceremony and celebration will be outdoors (rock/gravel, grass, concrete, etc.), so we definitely suggest avoiding stilettos :) From garden attire to semi-formal, we want you to be comfortable. Please pay attention to the weather forecast as Charlotte can be fairly warm in October!
The celebration will have a grazing-style dinner, cocktails, wine, beer, and non alcoholic beverages. Expect live music, poetry, and a lovely time!
Thu, Oct 6, 2022, 9:00 pm - Fri, Oct 7, 2022, 12:30 am
Keep the party going across the street - it's drag night, so bring your one's!
12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
This event is casual.
Brunch will be served at one of our favorite breweries (next door to where we met!) Each guest should purchase a brunch ticket via our registry ($36 per guest), which will cover the cost of food (including tax + gratuity). Guests will be responsible for their bar tab. Food will be catered from Haberdish.
11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Please wear shoes and clothes that you are comfortable getting wet.
Guests will be able to rent single/tandem kayaks, canoes or paddle boards, at $25 per boat for 90 minutes. Boats will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Guests will pay for their rental upon arrival. Alexx and Rhianna will plan to arrive at 11 to launch their boats. The experience is a self-guided 1.5-mile kayak/canoe/paddleboard trip around 1-1.5 hours where folks will launch on to the Catawba River from The Boathouse, paddle upstream 1 miles to the rocky shoals, and paddle back. The Boathouse will be serving beer on tap for guests who want to enjoy a cold one when they finish! This experience is supported by and supports Catawba Riverkeeper, which is the only non-profit, on-the-water advocate for the entire 8,900 miles of waterways in the Catawba-Wateree River Basin.
